We loved the welcoming sherry and biscuits, the luxurious linen and cosy fireplace, the hot tub, the beautiful view of the orchard and mountains, the friendly and efficient hostess….. all in all, a very high standard of accommodation. “On arrival I was told that there had been problem with my credit card when I booked so I will have to pay cash!!! This was news to me???!!! The paper work that was presented to me by the manager showed a credit card number on that was not mine! Luckily I have my banking app and hotels.com app on my phone, I showed him my credit card statement showing that the payment went through to hotels.com on 10th November and I showed him my booking on the hotels.com app showing that I had paid in full.
