Motel a Rio Grande

“Seemed OK at first until I got my room which was of course next to the ice machine and the maids quarters and in the noisiest area and smelly. Told them it was a little off and if I could switch. She said she didn’t have any rooms available because the cleaning staff didn’t come that day. Unless I wanted to upgrade and pay more. No this is in the off-season and I could walk by rooms with the curtains open and no one was there at the hotel maybe four guests. Why no clean room upgrade?? I had to...

“The Mango Motel is a great, affordable place to stay. It's an older motel, but it's been nicely updated. The rooms are clean and fresh. The rooms with a kitchenette come fully stocked with pots, utensils, and some dishes. If you chose to you could cook a complete meal. The staff was friendly and helpful. There's a lovely pool and spa. I only gave the amenities 4 stars because we didn't get to use them so I could only tell what they looked like. It's also just a few blocks walk to the boardwalk....
