“The hotel was like home from home, all members of staff made us very welcome and were exceedingly helpful. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed both the breakfast and evening meals, good ingredients beautifully cooked and the service was quick and attentive. Our holiday was mainly to visit gardens in the surrounding area,, five of which were within one hours drive = heaven. “The Skipton needs updating. The shower curtain rail was held together with duct tape and falling off the wall. The bath traps would not turn off without serious effort. ”
