Qualunque siano i tuoi desideri, la Villa è il miglior spazio esclusivo per le tue vacanze indimenticabili con i tuoi amici e familiari! INFORMAZIONI SUPPLEMENTARI SULLA VILLA: Questa esclusiva proprietà aristocratica è una Villa recentemente ristrutturata che ha ospitato una cantina. Al giorno d'oggi, la proprietà è immersa in un vivaio di 10.000 metri quadrati agrumeto e vegetale. Catania ha il maggior numero di ore di sole di QUALSIASI città in Europa, rendendo la nostra Villa una destinazione ideale tutto l'anno, dove godersi le belle giornate di primavera, estate e autunno. Situato nei pressi di Riposto, la proprietà si trova a 30 minuti di auto da Taormina e Catania e solo 1 km da una bella spiaggia di ciottoli. La proprietà esclusivamente a disposizione degli affittuari è dotata di una piscina privata, un giardino, una splendida terrazza, 4 grandi camere con bagno e cucina e soggiorno fronte mare. Gli alberi alti alti forniscono l'abbondanza di ombra per rilassarsi nei giorni più caldi oppure si possono rinfrescarsi nella piscina, se si preferisce. In piscina c'è uno spogliatoio e bagno troppo. Un altro angolo del giardino ospita un ampio patio in pietra con tavolo da pranzo, ping pong, barbecue e frigorifero. Una scala esterna conduce al primo piano dove lo spazioso interno è composto da una cucina, tavolo da pranzo e un divano ad angolo con comodi divani e poltrone e una terrazza adiacente con una splendida vista sul mare e l'Etna oltre, un gazebo e tavolo da pranzo. Tre camere da letto matrimoniali con bagno privato e un piccolo bagno sono su questo piano anche. Una scala a chiocciola conduce ad un soppalco, dove c'è una grande camera da letto di bambino con tre letti singoli e un bagno. Al piano terra - con un ingresso separato - sono gli appartamenti della governante che si prendono cura del giardino e possono fornire assistenza 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7, in caso di necessità. Accanto a questi sono i magazzini e la vecchia cantina ("palmento") - non più in uso, serve come un "museo privato" sul passato della Sicilia. La villa è esclusivamente per l'utilizzo degli affittuari, compresi tutti i suoi locali (il giardino, la piscina, il patio, terrazza e tutta l'area interna). Saremo a disposizione per dare consigli sulla zona, viaggi e altri servizi. La casa è facilmente raggiungibile dalla principale autostrada siciliana (Messina-Catania), uscita Giarre o Acireale. È un ca. 30 minuti di auto da Taormina, Catania, Mt. L'Etna e non lontano da altre destinazioni popolari tra cui Acitrezza, Alcantara, il porto di partenza delle Isole Eolie, Agrigento, Siracusa, Ragusa e le spiagge paradisiache del sud est della Sicilia. La villa è disponibile per il noleggio su base settimanale.

Really appreciated the welcome food pack, including a huge fruit basket. Pool and jacuzzi excellent. Loses one star due to proximity to road. Nevertheless would come again and happy to recommend.

Sixty in Sicily

I stayed at the villa with my sons and daughters-in-law in celebration of my 60th birthday. Vera and Francesco greeted us and showed us around the beautifully preserved villa and immaculate property. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and especially loved eating meals on the veranda with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea and Mt. Etna. The hosts had a delicious fruit platter as well as water, juice and coffee upon our arrival. I highly recommend this villa and hope to return again in the near future. Grazie mille!

Excellent value, location, amenities

We (6 adults and 2 teenagers) were so happy in this villa! The views are breathtaking. The home is so comfortable with four en-suite bathrooms!! The hot tub was used every night as the air in early June is cool in the evenings. Our hosts were so kind and even had generous provisions left for us so we could have a delicious breakfast, snacks, and drinks on hand right from the start! The nearby towns made everything we needed easy to access via car. It was a perfect place to explore Sicily from. But, honestly, it was hard to even leave the villa for a minute!! Many thanks to our hosts for making this a vacation we will never forget!!! We would love to return someday.

Amazing - views, comfort, hospitality

We LOVED our stay here! Such a lovely, comfortable place that feels like a home. One of the best stocked kitchens we’ve had in a rental property, and thoughtful touches like a fridge stocked with water, juice, and beer, a fruit basket including fruits from the property, and essentials to get you started like plenty of coffee. Ceiling fans in all the rooms was an unexpected plus in the hot Sicilian summer, though the breeze on the terrace from Etna was delightful. Spectacular views, spotless pool and hot tub, a great respite after busy days exploring Ortigia, Taormina, Etna, Alcantara Gorge, beaches, and wineries. There are nice restaurants within short driving distance, though nothing really walkable. We cooked several nights and also had two great private chefs come in, Fabio Simone and Mario Stefano Traina. Highly recommend!

VILLA PRAIOLA - RIPOSTO

Superbe séjour dans un cadre idyllique ! Maison spacieuse avec vue superbe sur une pépinière d'agrumes, la mer d'un côté et le majestueux Etna de l'autre. Villa très bien équipée. Nous étions 4 couples. Chacun disposait d'une chambre et d'une salle de bains. La piscine et le jacuzzi ont été bien appréciés le soir en rentrant de nos visites. Riposto bien situé pour visiter Catane, Etna, Siracus (l'ile d'Ortigie) et agrigente bien que à 190 kilomètres mais la vallée des temples mérite le détour. Quant aux propriétaires, quel accueil à notre arrivée tardive... avec quelques petites attentions à notre égard. Je recommande vivement ce lieu. Je remercie Stefano qui a répondu à toutes les questions que j'ai pu lui poser

Perfect family vacation

The Villa is absolutely stunning. So much more amazing in real life than pictures or even my words can convey. The sound of birds and fragrant lemon trees surround the property that has an amazing old world charm yet still modern conveniences. The beds were comfortable and the showers hot and every room had French doors that led to terraces with views of Mount Etna and the sea. We thoroughly enjoyed sipping coffee on the terrace each morning and soaking in the hot tub under the stars each night. It was also very sweet of the hosts to leave us juice, milk and fruit for the week and also to give us suggestions for dinner. Everything they recommended was perfect for us. I wish we could have stayed another week. We will definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to return to Sicily.:) Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

This house is fabulous.

Unfortunately, my wife and I had to cut our vacation short after just a few hours. But our friends with who we were traveling stayed at the house for a week and this is what they said: The house is fabulous. It is spacious and can easily accommodate 3 couples with an additional wonderful loft which kids would enjoy. The grounds are lovely and well cared for. The house is very well equipped and we easily cooked in a couple of nights. One great thing about the house is that it is situated in the middle of a large nursery and so seems remote, but is really very accessible. A relatively easy drive to the limited access expressway which allowed easy day trips along the entire east cost from Noto and Syracuse in the south to Castlemora and Toramino in the north. Also several restaurants from casual to high end very close and we walked to the beach one day. All very delightful. Our hosts checked on us once during our stay and everything they said they would do, they did and exactly when they said they would. We didn’t use the pool as it was late in the season, but did use the hot tub and we ate breakfast every day on the terrace/patio looking out at Mt Etna. A very delightful place to stay and I would recommend it without reservation.

Everything we antcipated...and more!

After much planning and anticipation, we made it to Sicily for a two week trip to explore our heritage, and to experience the the people, sights - and of course, the food! We began in the Palermo area with a swing through Enna culminating in our visit to the Etna area and our stay at Villa Praiola which was a highlight. Communications with our hosts prior to arrival were prompt, detailed, and friendly. Upon arrival, we were greeted like family. After a complet walk-through & tour, and a very interesting account of the villa's history, our hosts left us with a lovely fruit basket and a supply of staples to get us started. The villa was spotless. Everything is in excellent working order. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooks. During the booking process, our hosts recommended a local chef who made a very special dinner on the last night of our stay. Situated inside an agricultural area just outside of the small town center, the villa is easy to find and access. All around - including a portion of the villa property, are wholesale nurseries which makes for a unique setting. Except for a few periodic work trucks, and a lighlty used road to which the villa backs, it is peaceful and spectacularly situated between the sea on one side and Mt. Etna in the distance on the other. The grounds are full of lemon trees, and the pool and hottub were well maintained and ready for use. I can highly recommend Villa Praiola if you want to make some wonderful memories in Sicily!

Benessere suggestivo

Ho trascorso 15 splendidi giorni, in compagnia di amici, nella comodità di una casa molto bella e in posizione decisamente suggestiva, con il mare di fronte e l'Etna alle spalle. I paesaggi mattutini e serali erano bellissimi. La posizione garantisce inoltre un clima ideale, caldo asciutto di giorno, fresco la sera. L'interno è caratterizzato da ampie camere da letto, ognuna con il proprio bagno. L'esterno è un giardino lussureggiante con una piscina perfettamente tenuta dalla coppia di custodi, molto discreta. Il mare è limpido, le spiagge purtroppo non brillano per pulizia e manutenzione. Peccato anche per l'immondizia lungo le strade. Fa male vedere una terra tanto bella e accogliente deturpata dall'incuria. Comunque un grande abbraccio alla Sicilia e ai siciliani che ci accolgono da anni con signorilità e educazione e ci fanno vivere serenamente la vacanza.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Das Haus liegt wunderbar in einer Zitronenplantage. Die Aussicht auf den Ätna und das Meer ist überragend. Die Anlage, das Haus und der Pool hat uns und insbesondere den Kindern super gefallen. Die Kommunikation mit Vera war sehr gut - sie hat uns ganz toll geholfen als wir uns ausgeschlossen haben. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Urlaub.

Zwischen Meer und Vulkan

Die perfekte Lage unter dem Äthna mit Blick auf das Meer, zwischen Catania und Taormina. Man schwebt über den Plantagen mit einer perfekten Terrasse. Das historische Gebäude ist gut modernisiert, die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und noch nie vorher hat uns ein so voller Kühlschrank mit Getränken und ein solcher Obstkorb begrüßt.

The villa of your dreams

The villa has a spectacular view to the sea and to the volcano. It's an amazing place. We enjoyed our stay very much! We can warmly recommend it!

Top ausgestattetes Haus in wunderschöner Plantagenanlage

Wir waren eine Woche im September dort als Grossfamilie. Alle haben die Zeit genossen. Grundstück sehr gepflegt, Haus top ausgestattet u.a. 3 Kühl-Gefrierkombinationen, viel Geschirr in sehr guter Qualität. Toller grosser Pool und schönes Jacuzzi. Grosszügige Gastgeber hatten Kühlschrank mit Bier Wasser etc gefüllt und Riesenobstkorb in Küche gestellt. Anlage sehr grosszügig. Nur 2 kleine kritische Anmerkungen: - Wohnung ist im 1.OG ,wohin die Treppe mit 30Stufen führt; daher für Menschen mit Gehbrhinderung problematisch - der Strand von Praiola hat sehr grosse Kiesel und es ist echt schwierig ins Meer zu gelangen. Gemeinde sollte sich entschliessen einen 10m langen Steg mit Trittleiter am Ende ins Meer zu bauen und Problem wäre gelöst.

Beautiful Villa!!!

We had a lovely holiday in Sicily staying at this beautiful villa. The grounds are simply stunning, the gardens are so well maintained, we loved having fresh lemons every day from the Orchards to squeeze on our breakfast pancakes. There is so much to keep the kids entertained too - pool with dive board, hot tub and even table tennis! The views of Etna whilst sat on the balcony were amazing - especially when it started erupting and you could see the lava flowing down! The owners of the villa are lovely and give you lots of local information. We spent a lot of time at the villa relaxing and only visited Mount Etna (1hr drive) and Taormina (45min drive) - both worth visiting. The only thing that was a little bit disappointing was that you cannot walk to anything from this villa....no ice cream shops or little bars as it is on a fairly busy road you wouldn't really want to walk on. You must hire a car and you need to drive everywhere. That said there is a supermarket 5mins drive away and there is also a fantastic restaurant about 5mins drive from the villa called Le Serra - amazing views of Etna and fabulous food!! We went twice! Also be aware that none of the restaurants in the vicinty open before 7.30pm in the evening, Sicilian way I imagine, but we found this a bit restrictive with our 3 year old (who usually eats around 5pm) so we ended up eating in a few nights when he was too tired to stay up late. All in all though a great place to chill and spend time with the family! :)

Maison complètement équipée , Chambres spacieuses avec salle de bain individuelles, ménage en milieu de séjour. Apprécie, dans un parc arboré de citronniers à 1 km de la mer plage de galets, vu sur l ´Etna ( bluffant en cette période d’ éruption) routes étroites, attention à la conduite…

Eine tolle alte Villa mit viel Geschmack renoviert in einem traumhaften Ambiente. Super ausgestattet und für 8 Personen mehr als ausreichend. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen sympathisch.

nice country house in the middle of tree farms outside Riposto. easy to get to destinations along the coast. pool and jacuzzi were great. good rental for a large group or families with children.

Traumhafte Villa mit allem Komfort

Die Villa liegt an einer kleine Straße-Ecke an einer Gärtnerei gelegen mit Blick zum Etna und dem Meer. Das Anwesen ist traumhaft und sehr gepflegt. Insgesamt haben wir alles wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos vorgefunden. Obst und Getränke standen am Anreisetag bereit und die Gast-Familie ist sehr nett. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können die Ferien-Villa uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen!

Fantastisk landvilla

Vi var 4 voksne og 2 børn, der tilbragte efterårsferien i Praiola. Huset er fantastisk med udsigt til både havet og Etna. Det er godt indrettet og perfekt til flere familier. Haven er smuk med stor pool og jacuzzi spa. Vi ankom meget sent og blev modtaget ved afkørslen til Giarre og fulgt til huset. Her stod mad. vin og frugt parat til os. Al kommunikation med udlejer har virket perfekt, og vi giver stedet de bedste anbefalinger-

Villa Praiola in Riposto - Stay for 4 Adults

Villa Praiola offers all the amenities and conveniences, excellent accommodation, lovely garden with swimming pool and jacuzzi. We were welcomed in a most hospitable manner by Vera and Francesco, once we found the villa. It was a bit challenging to locate the villa. The generous food supplies in cupboards and two fridges were most appreciated, after a long journey. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the rooms are most comfortable, with individual ensuites, fans and AC. Cleanliness is superb! Cettina and her family treated us to an authentic Sicilian meal which was delicious and tasty! The pool, the jacuzzi and especially the spectacular sunrises and view to Mount Etna were thoroughly enjoyed on a daily basis. We did find it a bit noisy with traffic and the 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. sirens, alerting the Nursery Employees of shift start and shift end. Hence, the loss of one star. Otherwise, we were treated exceptionally well by Vera and Francesco, along with Cettina and family. We will cherish our wonderful memories of Villa Praiola, which, by the way was also difficult to find by our tour guides taking us out on two different excursions. Some additional landmarks may be helpful. Thank you, Vera and Francesco.

Lovely stay in beautiful villa with excellent facilities. The owners were very responsive & helpful

The owners, Vera & Francesco, very kindly met us just after the toll booths on the A18 to lead us to the house. We were very late arriving with BA flight availability and delays but they were fine about it. They explained that they would indicate the location of a large supermarket, Conforama, and two pizzerias on the way to the house which was very helpful. They showed us around the house and explained how things worked on arrival which meant we could settle in straight away. The house was very clean and the kitchen was really well equipped. As others have said it was really helpful to have some food in the cupboards and fridge to start us off which was enough for 7 of us to have a snack on arrival and breakfast in the morning. The views from the terrace towards the sea and in the other direction towards Mount Etna were beautiful. There were three dining spaces including a garden room which was lovely. The pool and jacuzzi were excellent and it was good to see that both of these were given a good clean on changeover day. ( The jacuzzi was completely emptied.) There were lots of chairs & beds to relax on and lovely thick cotton beach towels provided in the little pool house with toilet. The four bedrooms had air conditioning and fans and there is a nice breeze too through the french doors on the three double en-suite bedrooms on the first floor. The en-suite bedroom in the eaves has a/c too and was perfect for the 3 young men sleeping up there with 3 small double beds. There was a fourth bed there too which was a sofa bed and there was another sofa bed in one of other double rooms. There was also a seating area inside which was especially useful for the stormy day. The property was well located between the sites of Etna, beautiful Taormina & Syracusa. The property was set in beautiful grounds with Kiwis (above the car port!) , lemons, limes & peaches growing on trees there and mint and rosemary was there too. It is not far to the local beach (15 min walk). The beach is full of large grey lava stones. The water was clear and warm. The only negative to Sicily for us was the amount of dumped rubbish everywhere, which was evident on the beach road, but it won’t stop us from returning. I would most definitely recommend a visit to this island with its sub tropical climate and amazing scenery and especially to this villa which is beautifully kept by owners who want you to have a 5* experience with them. An Oasis in the Sicilian Sun

The villa in Riposta is a wonderful oasis from which to explore eastern Sicily. Our family of four had a wonderful stay. The villa is as described on Homeaway. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and shower. The pool and jacuzzi are a wonderful place to escape from the Sicilian heat. The hosts are extremely nice and helpful and provided lots of tips about restaurants and sites to see. We had a wonderful meal prepared by Cettina, one of the caretakers of the property. Overall, a wonderful stay. We only wished we could have enjoyed more time at the villa, as we were busy seeing the sites!
