“Beautiful grounds, but no restaurant or real hospitality The grounds are well kept and the pool is beautiful with lush vegetation around it, about 1.2 hours from Quito. That's where the positives end. There is no functioning restaurant despite what's advertised — we were directed to a roadside eatery up the street with questionable sanitation. "Included" breakfast required scheduling an appointment and lady was not there a worker came out and told us to waited to brew coffee; we skipped it...

“This is a beautiful, spotlessly clean eco-lodge just outside Mindo. The tropical grounds are vast and exquisitely manicured, while the rooms are large and inviting after a day of fun activities. It’s quite private. We enjoyed a lazy afternoon of recovery from a busy trip, reading and napping on the great balcony. “There was plenty of birds and trails. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food was unexpectedly great. The road getting up to the reserve is a little rocky/bumpy but thats literally the only concern everything else was amazing.”
