“This is a B&B, not a hotel. They have 7 or 8 rooms and 2 parking places. The B&B is in a residential area, and the road is not paved. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. We stayed in a family room with full queen beds and bunk beds (no railing on the top bunk, so probably out for younger kids). The breakfast was simple but good. Because they only have 3 tables and they cook it fresh for you, you may not be able to eat since many people schedule tours for the morning and need to...

“What can I say but WOW! This was such a pleasant suprise! As soon as we got there we had instant regret that we didn't book longer here! This hotel almost makes us want to go back one day just to stay here again. The pictures do not do it justice. This is a wonderful spot, so charming, wonderful plants. Can't say enough good things! “Il percorso per arrivare all'hotel è stato difficoltoso, attraverso strade non asfaltate e sotto la pioggia. L'albergo è semplice ma accogliente, il cibo ottimo, il personale cordiale. Monteverde è un posto con temperatura piutoosto bassa e frequenti nuvole; e.da consigliare a chi ama la natura, non a chi cerca sole e spiagge.”

“We appreciated the location of this property which was within close proximity to the places we wanted to visit. There is a couple coffee shops and a souvenir store next door. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order and served between 6:30 am and 8:30am. There are 3 choices; pancakes, traditional and American with a small plate of fresh fruit and coffee, tea or juice. The neighbours have a lot of dogs and they make a huge racket (barking and howling) but we heard nothing after about 8pm and it...

“The grounds/property was very nice. The rooms and amenities, not so good. The room was basic, terrible bed, the small refrigerator hummed all night. No bedside table lamp just the very dim overhead light. The upper part of the window was missing glass, odd. The heavy blackout drapes were hung backwards. Again, odd. We left very early in the morning because we could not sleep on the bed. We did not get the complimentary breakfast ”

“I stayed two nights in a private room, the ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful with helping book my activities, they’ve really created a welcoming and chilled vibe. The kitchen and outdoor area is lovely. There’s everything you need both in the property and nearby. It was very chilly at night but was provided with extra blankets, the strong wind was a little noisy with plants hitting my window but I didn’t mind and always take earplugs in case of outside noise. It was super clean....

“Staff were all so welcoming and friendly throughout our stay… and helpful with any questions we had about the area. They made us feel at home. Coffee and water was always available in dining area and breakfast each morning was lovely - orange juice, fruit, toast and jam with a selection of 4 different breakfasts. Tours could be arranged and shops and restaurants were all close by- lovely relaxing place to stay”
