It is older hotel with lots of character! We only stayed one night but bed was comfy. It was clean and quiet. Coffee close by. We had a coffee maker but no coffee or cups. Bathtub had great water pressure but only half when you turned it up to shower.
There was a nice gameroom, porch, pool. A cool Blackbeard statue! Room was big but no elevator for those that require one.

"My suite had a fan blowing in the room when we arrived. I went down to the front desk to ask if everything was ok and they lied to me to my face and said that it was. "The place is ran down. Only good part about the hotel is the location. Pool had mold everywhere. Drains wouldn’t work. Staff made you come down to the lobby for toilet paper or towels. They wouldn’t bring it to you."
