“This is a lovely old fashioned-feeling, quirky hotel with a great atmosphere. It is in a great location in the heart of Totnes. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and all our meals were tasty with decent portions. The staff members, without exception, were cheerful, helpful and welcoming. Parking is tight with there being only a small car park so other parking options may need to be considered before arrival.”

La posizione è ottima, direi che è orientato alle vacanze, più che a un soggiorno di lavoro. Vi era infatti una comitiva di turisti austriaci, che apparivano molto soddisfatti. Le camere sono confortevoli e ragionevolmente silenziose. La colazione è passabile e la zona ristorante ha una vista assai gradevole. L'unico neo è la strada di accesso, che è fin troppo stretta.”

“We were a little disappointed with our stay and are surprised by the number of positive comments. While our room itself was clean enough, the rest of the property would benefit from a serious deep clean. The carpets on the stairs were heavily ingrained with dirt. We were also surprised to find that the dining area was carpeted, which seems an unusual and impractical choice for a breakfast room. “The property doesn't have its own parking. There is free parking available on the street parallel to the entrance but this wasn't clear from the description. I appreciated the keyless nature of the accommodation. The gate lock can be a bit tricky to open. The room was clean and the bathroom was fantastic. They provide some food in the small lounge but I couldn't see anything gluten free.”
