“The breakfast menu was not very good; the eggs were watery, and there was no fruit option. But the worst part was the pillows — they were flat and hard, as if they had been used a thousand times and had no fluff left, like a flattened cake.”

“Clean property. However, toilet seat is so small - looks like kids version - pls change it. The cistern refill is so loud as if a jet takes off pls fix these in otherwise a good n newly furnished rooms”

“I think it was circumstantial, but there was a group in the hotel that made my stay very unpleasant. Shared spaces were dominated by this group and they were generally rude. I was enroute to another city and have always enjoyed stopping in Charleston and staying at this hotel. However, this time was simply awful. I wasn't able to take advantage of the amenities, especially breakfast, so I just left as soon as I got up the next morning. Room was fine, clean, but my experience other than that...

I was welcomed with a cold drink and snack and a smile after a long trip. Rebecca prepared the best free breakfast any hotel has ever offered. She was always in motion, keeping the dishes filled and the room spotless. I was a bit disappointed that after 3 days ( left on the fourth), there was no maid service.This despite a...
