“A beautiful peaceful setting in the countryside close to all the travel and experiences along the Able Tasman area. We had four full on busy days there and it was great to be able to return in the early evening to relax and have full cooking facilities to enjoy our catch from the Anatoki Salmon Farm. “As cyclists on the great taste trail, this property had everything we could possibly want. The location is very peaceful and is near river access. The house has been tastefully redecorated while keeping a 'bowling' theme. I wish we could have stayed more than one night. Excellent.”

“We had spent almost a week up in Abel Tasman Park at Awaroa so had been busy hiking, swimming and watching the tides. After all the running about, boat trip up and back this was a super relaxing stop for a couple of days. The view out over the river to the sea and distant mountains is fantastic and we woke up to a brilliant red sunrise. We did laundry and fed some of my breakfast croissant crumbs to the chickens. Its was great.”

“An absolutely delightful wee cottage! We had booked for two nights but wished we’d had longer. The cottage was extremely clean, well appointed and equipped (including dishwasher, washing machine and barbecue) - literally everything you need. You could easily stay here for a week - or more! “Had a lovely ANZAC weekend at Fern Tree cottage - even went to the service at 11am just down the road. Spacious and warm, and just around the corner from the shops and bakery. Kids loved the rooms, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Highly recommended.”
