The Lawson Rock condo was just about perfect for our needs. It was roomy, very close to the beach, had a nice porch area for as sitting out of the sun after snorkeling, and pretty quiet, considering the complex is off the main drag to West End and the unit faces the street. Salt and pepper, coffee filters, and detergent were provided (I assume that’s standard), as well as paper towels. A standard sized strainer in the kitchen would have been nice for spaghetti, but we improvised. We never used the pool but the area looked nice. The on site restaurant was a gem - we purchased many lunches there, and their passion fruit jelly is to die for!The only negative - and it was a huge one for us but may not be for others - is the fact that there are lights right outside the bedroom slider that automatically turn on at night. A nice idea for those walking the complex after dark - but there is a white shade and white panel “curtains” covering the slider glass door; these do very little to keep the light out of the bedroom, resulting in a room that is definitely not dark. Blackout or at least a thicker/more solid fabric in a darker color is needed; my wife slept with her airplane sleep mask on all week, which was not particularly comfortable.Besides that, the place was a nice find.
