Family vacation to Roatan
We rented the home from RVBO, known as The Dock Resort, for a week in late May. Our group of 19 consists mostly of family members and one family that is made up of good friends.The home was huge on the water in the West Bay area.We took advantage of the Staff Package. This gives us 2 excellent cooks and dishwashing service. We have 9 bedrooms. Our bartender and home manager" Block", took care of our drinks, which were priced at 1/2 the cost at a restaurant. The home provided us with a planning organizer "Roy". Who lined us up for various activities such as fishing, snorkeling and diving trips, zip lining and zoo trip, a day trip around the island, best of all, a sunset cruise which last over 4 hours, some snorkeling and fun in the water, unlimited drinks which they kept asking if we wanted another one. A very delicious dinner. Our group, which has had a yearly vacation trip together for about 12 years, all agreed this was our best vacation by far. The only bad thing was our flights being delayed and in one instance because Delta only had 2 agent at the ticketing booth to handle over 200 passengers, which the last 10 of my group were refused boarding because we needed to have our bags proceed 45 minutes before the flight time. The first agent was no help at all as we got to the ticket booth right at the time limited expired. Luckly for us the 2nd agent was very helpful and got our bags and us on the plane at a cost of 750.
