“I really wanted to like this boutique hotel—the decor was stylish, the room had a great vibe, and the location was convenient. On the surface, it checks a lot of boxes. However, the “contactless reception” model ended up being a major drawback. There was effectively no staff available at any point during our stay. “Rooms are clean and it is supereasy to get to the convention center. Negatives: 1. Slow service, had to call multiple times on one occasion to get water bottles 2. Billing was fraudulent, breakfast was included in room costs but on the final bill charged separately 3. Post visit customer service is unsatisfactory, nobody picks up the call if you have a billing question Based on the amount of charges, poor services and older state of the property, it was not worth the amount I paid”

“The room was great, breakfast was as expected, everything was clean and well stocked. Check-in took awhile. The front-desk lady seemed a little frazzled and appeared to to be struggling with the computer system, but eventually we got our keycards. Holiday Inn Express is our favorite one-night hotel to stay at when we are on road trips due to consistent experience and good value.”
