“Unusual place to stay but very pleasant. With the high weather temperatures we have just had it was a tad warm dispite a large fan. Slept with doors open. Minor improvement could be made but that said our stay was very good. We would return. Thank you.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Tickled Trout. All the staff were really friendly and attentive. Our room was lovely . It was really warm when we were there as it was in the middle of a heatwave. We took a fan with us although they did say there were some available. There was a small window in our room which looked out onto a fairly busy road so could be quite noisy if window was open. “I booked this hotel for a one night stay. Then I read the reviews and wondered if I’d made a bad mistake. However, I can honestly say that we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was quiet, clean and we were treated very well. Excellent value for money. ”
