The cabin is in a excellent area and so close to the attractions we wanted to see in the area. Overall my family and I loved the area and the cabin and I highly recommend this cabin for anyone's family”

“This was a very nice vacation rental. However, the gravel driveway made it not as accessible as desired for motorcycles. There were many deer in area to observe. We did enjoy the area and riding options.”

“All in all, our stay was very good. A small, rustic cabin, which I loved. The only thing I would like to mention is that there are no clothes closets or dressers. There is a small chest in the bedroom. If planning to cook a lot, make sure you bring spices/seasonings and maybe a casserole or baking dish.Very quiet and peaceful and the view at the end of the road is beautiful Internet works best sitting on the front porch.It is pet friendly.”

“If you want a cozy little getaway I would recommend this. It was definitely exactly what I needed. Loved the garage door being able to open and close. It mostly stayed open for us. We wanted a weekend of quiet and relaxation which is exactly what we got. Already planning on coming back for another weekend in the spring. Dog friendly as well.”

“Large space.Advertised as having a futon in one of the bedrooms, which is the reason I booked it originally. Futon not there. This was rectified quickly, as they brought over a twin fold up bed. Nice view at the top of the hill. Reimbursed half of what I paid originally for stay, since we moved to another location (Sieverville) since there was way more to do) (I should have paid more attention to the fine print) . More things to do on site would have been very nice. Good to deal with. ...

“This place was super cute. We enjoyed having the privacy it provided but, for the price...I think we couldve done better. Super nice firepit, the full kitchen was nice to have, and having a nice bed and clean towels for showering was amazing. The propane heater stopped working for us halfway through our stay. We didnt have hot water to shower, or wash dishes which is rough when it's cold out (it rained on us for three days). But overall not too bad.”

“Family of 5 really enjoyed this rustic cabin. Loves the history displayed throughtout the home. Location was superb with a breath-taking view from the back deck that we spent a lot of time on. We enjoyed watching the bats at night and the sunrise was well worth the early wakeup call! We spent time hiking at Savage Gulf State Park and Fiery Gizzard State Park during our stay which was an easy drive from the cabin.
