Hotel a Rock Islands

“Albergo in “centro” a Palau. Non è sulla spiaggia, del resto tutte le escursioni partono dai moli con pick-up-up in hotel. Per la sera, molti ristoranti sono vicini e si raggiungono velocemente a piedi. Camera spaziosa, letti molto comodi, bagno bello e pulizia ben fatta. Personale gentile e disponibile a organizzare escursioni anche last minute. Non l’abbiamo utilizzata, ma c’è anche una piscina con area relax. In sintesi albergo super consigliato”

“Ho passato quattro splendidi giorni al Palau Pacific Resort. Il Resort, dislocato a meno di 10 minuti di taxi dal centro di Koror, è in una bellissima posizione, in una piccola baia isolata. La camera assegnataci, con vista mare, era spaziosa e ben arredata. Quanto alle strutture, la spiaggia è ben curata ed è possibile fare ottimo snorkeling nel mare antistante, ricco di pesci; bella anche la piscina, così come la piccola palestra attrezzata ed i campi da tennis. “Il resort è circondato da piante di vario tipo e sembra di vivere nel mezzo della giungla, per questo motivo lo abbiamo scelto. Offre molti servizi piscina esterna, idromassaggio e sauna. Camere molto pulite e accoglienti. All'interno del resort, c'è un bar aperto dalle 18:00 alle 02:00 molto in sintonia con l'ambiente esterno dove si può cenare e bere la tipica birra Red Rooster di Palau. “La struttura è composta da casette prefabbricate provviste di una cucina in comune e 3 stanze. Le stanze non sono isolate acusticamente e quindi si percepiscono tutti i rumori esterni e in special modo le convenzioni degli altri ospiti (maggiormente quando sono spiacevolmente maleducati). Nel periodo del nostro soggiorno il ristorante era in ristrutturazione e nella nostra camera si è scardinata la porta del bagno a causa della scarsa manutenzione. Nel complesso decisamente sconsigliato.”

“The driver hired to take me to the hotel was easily seen. Check in was quick and room ready. Any issue with the Room they addressed immediately. The water was warm for the shower. Bed very comfortable lots of places to store your luggage. The fridge and freezer worked well. Walking distance to the museums and souvenir shops. Lots of choices for places to eat and grocery stores. Beach is not walkable.”

“Disappointing since I stayed there a long time ago. It’s under new management who have not kept up the hotel. The restaurant and bars are closed. The complimentary breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, white toast —no jam, butter, rce jook, spicey rice noodles, picked vegetables, cabbage slaw, Black Chinese tea. They tried to accommodate me with instant coffee and milk. Workers are nice. Basically for Chinese visitors. ”
