    The Space:

    Explore all of Rockaway Beach, including the town's wide, sandy shores and quaint downtown area along Highway 101, from this dog-friendly home with room for up to six guests.



    This home resides in a quiet neighborhood on the northeast side of town and is only a half-mile walk from beach and souvenir shops, eclectic eateries, and attractions like the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad.



    Step inside to feel stress melt away in the home's comfortable interior, which features plush furnishings, modern conveniences, and thoughtful decor that conveys a sense of peace. Enjoy updates like WiFi, cable- and DVD-equipped television (also includes a DVD library), plus modern kitchen appliances for quick and easy meal prep.



    Whip up homemade breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the full kitchen with all the cooking necessities. Share group meals at the nearby four-seat table, at the breakfast bar, or dine with coastal views from the outdoor deck. Just down some stairs from the deck, you'll find the outdoor firepit.



    Up to six guests will find the perfect end of the day accommodations in two bedrooms. The master suite has a king bed, the guest bedroom has a queen bed, and the living area has a sofabed. Your dogs are welcome to come along, though please note the nightly pet fee.



    Some fun day trip adventures include crabbing in Nehalem Bay, taking the steam-powered Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad train to Garibaldi, and visiting the International Police Museum (admission is free!). If you've come during the summer, make sure to check out Lake Lytle one mile north for stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, kayaking, and other lake sports.

Great home with a great location. Saw deer in the neighborhood. The Rockaway Beach is a big stretch of beach, very family friendly beach with sand washing station. Fun little shops downtown. There is a train you can take too. The Tillamook Factory is a must do in the area (grab lunch, take the self guided tour and then get an ice cream treat; I recommend the Marion berry Pie flavor, and they also have a 3 scoop flight option). Echols State Park is a nice option, we saw a moose crossing the road. Oswald West State Park is nice too, at Short Sands Beach we saw lots of surfers and some neat tide pooling. The house fills bigger than it is, and the beds are comfortable. The front and back porches are very relaxing. Lots of kitchen amenities and supplies. There were games and puzzles too. We were a family of 6 traveling (three generations).

Cute and cozy home

We loved our stay at this cute home and will defend be back. The home was well stocked and nice and clean and just a really nice place to stay. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and there was a neighbor deer that greeted us each morning and evening too.

This is a perfect home to stay at for a couple or two couples as it has two full bedrooms. This property was extremely clean. The neighborhood this home is in was extremely quiet and we saw deer in the evenings! On the downside, the washing machine was broken and on Monday a repair man showed up without us knowing. It turned out to be a blessing as I had lost the key to the house but there was a second key that he was able to help me retrieve. The instructions to retrieve the key could be a little more detailed as they have to lock boxes on the pole. Although the directions for the TV were written out step by step, I’m chalking it up to my little knowledge as I was never able to get the TV to work. Would I rent this house again . . .absolutely! This house is within walking distance of all the best Rockaway has to offer!

Perfect retreat

Loved this cozy house. It was just off the beaten path and in a quiet neighborhood, but close enough to hop on 101 easily or check out the beach and town of Rockaway. Awesome stay.

Great location in Rockaway

Staying several blocks off the main drag was perfect for us. The neighborhood is very quiet, a nice relief from the 101 traffic. The house is lovely, with all the amenities we needed.

One of the beds and the bedding on it smelled horribly of body odor. When the power went out for 24 hours there was only one flashlight available. The washing machine was finicky and had to be re-started multiple times in order to work. Other than this the place was cute but for the price it seems these issues should be addressed.

Great beach place

Everything you need for a lovely stay near the beach. Full kitchen a bonus. Clean and felt like a home. Very relaxing place. Quiet neighborhood a short drive to beach or bit of a walk. Easy check in/out process. Would stay again!
