Enjoy your next Oregon Coast getaway at this dog-friendly house that sits in the Nedonna Beach area of Rockaway Beach. At this newly built house, you will find everything that you need to feel right at home and relax like a fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a private gas grill, an outdoor dining area under a covered patio, and a flatscreen TV with cable.



What's nearby:

You can access a seven-mile stretch of a sandy beach just 0.4 miles from the house. Downtown Rockaway Beach is three miles to the south, where you will find an array of dining options, antique stores, fun gift shops, necessities, and more. Catch the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad for a quick trip down to the fishing village of Garibaldi, where you can pick up some fresh seafood from the marina. Crabbing and salmon fishing are less than five minutes away on the Nehalem River, and great trout fishing awaits at Lake Lytle.

Return customer here. Unfortunately the air conditioning unit was broken so the home heated up after 4pm to very uncomfortable temps throughout the nights. Hopefully it will be fixed for the next visitors.

Great Location

Overall it was ok, we brought a movie projector to experience a movie night with the kids, but the internet wifi connection was very difficult to work with. Couldn’t complete the movie. The BBQ in backyard was unusable. We made the best of things.

Nice location, nice home. Cleanliness and supplies leave much to be desired… White shower curtain is pink at bottom, mildew/mold; Front of bath cabinets (primary) are dirty and had some kind of powder Baseboards in bath, hallways and main living area are dusty and dirty; Kitchen sink needed thorough scrubbing; Towels, both bath and kitchen are threadbare and not white Cobwebs, dust bunnies behind TV, couch, dressers Front porch, cobwebs, bird feathers all around entry light TV sound would not work, very frustrating. I solved it after 2-3 hours of trial and error; Entry door code never worked as instructions are written. When exiting to go have fun, it was hard to get the door locked. And no instructions were provided. I would like the owner to know that they have a really nice house. But quality of housekeeping/maintenance is cheapening their home. Also, providing nice quality towels and linens, paper towel and toilet paper, even some Kleenex would make me more interested in returning. As is, I probably will not return.

Relaxation in Rockaway

We had a wonderful time during our stay in your home. It’s located in a great neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach. The home was neat and clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. During our walks, we listened to the birds in the morning and frogs in the evening. Thank you!

Rockin' It At Rockaway

Clean, spacious, nicely decorated. Quiet neighborhood. Beach is only a block or so over from the property. Plenty of parking. The owners do need to do to Home Depot and buy a decent grill for the backyard, however. We were there to attend a wedding and the property worked out very well for our party. A bit north of "downtown".

Such a cute one story home! The kids didn’t want to leave! It had a fun sandbox in the front sure sand toys, the kitchen was perfect for serving and eating with our large family of 8. We loved the small town feel and our beach wasn’t crowded at all. It was t too far from our home either. We will definitely be back!

Lovely location

This house is just right for a small group. Love that it backs up to the hillside. Nice quiet neighborhood. Comfy beds, but don’t love the plastic mattress protectors. Needs oven mitts and kitchen washcloths. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay!!

Nice beach Home ! Would return !

The Captains quarters was clean and nicely tucked away in a little Beachside neighborhood. Beach access was just a 10 minute walk . The beach was beautiful and the Quarters were comfy and pet friendly . Would definitley reccomend this home !

Nice family house

Very good house for a family. 5 kids ranging from 18 to 7 plus my wife and mother were comfortable. Not much of a yard but that was the only down side. House is newer and clean. Neighborhood is quiet and feels safe.
