Cabin was clean and spacious

The 3 levels of rooms easily provided space for all 7 of us. We all enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and grilling on the deck. The setting on top of the hill was private and the location was within 10-20 minutes of all the Hocking Hills trails and caves.

Peaceful, cozy and memorable!

The cabin all lit up at night was a beautiful view! There were games already there for us to play and plenty of space for everyone to feel included. We didn’t find the telescope in the booking photos but we could see the stars perfectly from the fire pit so that’s a win! We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

We had quick and easy response with the host. Clean accommodations and quiet surroundings. The grill was new and clean which we enjoyed using. The hot tub cover should be replaced. It made the hot tub uninviting. Also the pans could be replaced. Normally we bring our own electric griddle but we unfortunately forgot this trip. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at The Cardinal’s Nest. It was comfortable and a very nice place to stay. We hope to stay there again!

Refreshing weekend getaway in beautiful Hocking Hills during the Fall.

The cabin was extremely spacious and clean. It fit our 7 guests comfortably and we had so much fun. It was everything we ever wanted and more!

First of all it’s adorable and well equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of hooks and blankets and towels! Hot tub was clean. The location is a 20-30 min drive to things BUT beautifully remote and the roads and driveway after a light snow the night before were perfectly kept. We will be back.

This place was perfect! Arriving late in the evening, the lights were on and it felt like we were arriving at home. Large, spacious rooms exactly as pictured with lots of furnishings and utensils for cooking and baking. We had our Thanksgiving dinner here and the views and location couldn't have been better. It was discussed to celebrate other holidays here as well. Thank you!

It was an amazing place to stay that we cannot wait to book again!

Honestly, everything. It was a beautiful place inside and out! Amazing views! We enjoyed the privacy and comfortability the entire property provided! It was a great escape with nature, we even got to see two baby deer one morning! Again, honestly enjoyed every aspect of it!

The property did not disappoint. It was just as pictured. The beds were comfortable, the location is secluded so you canenjot the deck and hot tub. The driveway is steep and curvy , we missed it at first but figured it out.

Adorable cabin close to all of the hiking spots around Hocking Hills. Updated and modern. Kids loved the loft with the PAC-MAN machine. Hot tub was great after a long day of hiking, however, the lid is in need of repair and was hard to take on and off. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided which was a nice touch! Would recommend this cabin. Thanks!

This was a beautiful home and property. We loved the fire pit, hot tub, and large screened in porch. The large water filter pictured in the listing was not there but was not a big deal. The home was very difficult to find and the driveway was quite treacherous. The proximity was great to the town of Logan and all the best hikes in Hocking Hills. Overall, our stay was enjoyable and we would recommend Cardinal’s Nest!

Pleasant stay. Close to trails. Little bit of a rough driveway. Hot tub lid is bad and has taken on water; heavy as can be and could hardly move it on and off. Cabin was fantastic and clean.

We can’t wait to come again to this peaceful cabin!

We loved the Cardinal’s Nest! It was clean and quiet and we were greeted each day by deer and turkeys! It was everything we wanted. Our only complaint was it was so hard to find and we took multiple trips up wrong driveways before finally finding it. A sign by the road would have been helpful. Otherwise, it was the perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy the local trails and lake!

Hello, my communication with this Host was really good. Any time I had a question, they were prompt and informative. Thank you :) Firewood: 16.99 for 6 pieces was a bit much. You can purchase bundles in the area for 5.00. There were pieces that had been previously used, however were thrown over the hillside. I gathered the good pieces and continued to burn. Support the locals. Hot Tub: OOOOhhh feels SO GOOD. The cover...Due for replacement. The property is beautiful. Just a shame folks don't respect it by throwing their empties in the tree line. Wall Switches: there are a few labeled, still a hunt and flip lol. The ceiling fan in the LR, never did figure it out. Overall...no complaints. Would recommend. Even with the entrance lol Thank you so much for the this treasure. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Amenities were good. Had trouble using the code to get in, as instructions were very vague. Several remotes had missing or dead batteries. Someone did come and salt the driveway prior to an impending snowstorm, which was helpful. A number of light switches didn't appear to do anything, which was rather confusing.
