Goditi le albe dal ponte della nostra pittoresca, piccola camera da letto 2, cottage con bagno in Big Crooked Lake nella Contea di Kent, nel Michigan. Big Crooked Lake è un lago privato di 152 acri, tutti gli sport, con una grande capacità di pesca di branchi blu, persici, spigole, lucci e glaucomi. Spiaggia privata di sabbia e area poco profonda sulla proprietà. C'è anche una baia senza scia, accessibile in barca, dove le persone ancorano le loro barche per nuotare e socializzare. Il cottage è di 900 piedi quadrati e dormirà 4 comodamente, una camera da letto ha un letto matrimoniale, l'altra ha due letti singoli. We had the perfect summer weekend at Jackie & Jim's place! The lake house fit 3 adults and 1 toddler comfortably. The backyard was spacious enough for our daughter to run around and the neighbors were all so friendly. We loved the amenities at the property including the beach, lake, row boat, bonfire bit and grill. We couldn't have asked for a better host or Fourth of July weekend!

Granddaughter’s Graduation

The cottage was perfect!! Great view of lake. We had the family over on Sunday to celebrate my granddaughter graduating and to see our great Neice for the first time. Even though it was a cold day the deck was warm due to the house blocking the North wind. Everything was just like the pictures bed was comfy and kitchen had everything you needed. Grill worked great. Will stay here again for sure!

Very pleasant stay

Very nice private community on the lake, it was sunny and quiet in the middle of May. Not yet the fishing season, but we caught some fish right from the shore. The property is awesome! Clean and very well maintained. You will like the hosts, Jackie and Jim were very nice to us, very responsive and helpful. Really enjoyed this stay, would like to come back again.

every thing was awesome! my hosts were very nice folks. its the only place I've stayed that truly had EVERYTHING you need. the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots pans, and utensils. Very clean and well kept. Even came with a complimentary yellow lab to play fetch with. great little fishing lake. probably gonna go back this spring.

Amazing Month on Crooked Lake!

Owners, Jackie and Jim, were very generous with their time and their help, making us feel welcomed as they live next door. They have furnished many amenities that make an extended stay, ours was 26 nights, most pleasant. The electric grill was a bonus for us. Many meals were enjoyed on the deck and it was a beautiful place to relax or to read. It even has a shade solution, table and 4 chairs! Every inch of the cottage was clean. Another bonus was access to the lake with a small boat with an electric motor which we used for fishing. Having two kayaks allowed us to enjoy the lake at a leisurely pace. The cottage is less than 10 minutes from hiking and fishing at Pickerel Lake, Townsend Park and a grocery store. Downtown Rockford is about 15-20 minutes away. Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park, a favorite of ours, is about 15-20 minutes away. If ever we needed to rent a cottage on a lake to be near our daughter’s family in Rockford, this would be on the top of our list! May, 2024

Awesome Place On A Beautiful Lake

This was our second visit to this cottage and like the first it was an amazing stay. Just couldn’t ask for anything nicer. Cottage is equipped with anything you could possibly need including a very nice bottle of wine upon arrival. Located on a quiet dead end street in a great neighborhood and our hosts Jim and Jackie are two of the nicest people you could ever meet and fun to visit with.

Too Short!

Fall get away

Nice Cottage and great location

The cottage was very clean and perfect for the week. The lake was beautiful, just wish we had more time to enjoy the water. The owners were very nice and helpful. We had a very bad storm and lost power. The owners were right there to assist with a generator and got the lights and well running. Thanks for being so nice! I would highly recommend this cottage and location.

Wonderful location. Beautiful sandy beach in your back yard! Husband had a lot of fun fishing. Close enough to Grand rapids for museums and zoo, for the rainy days. Definitely will return.

Awesome Lake Stay!

We had an absolutely amazing stay. Our grand kids (8 and 18) joined us for the week and it was perfect for any age. Beautiful sandy beach and great fishing right off the dock. Cottage was spotless and had everything we could possibly need and more. Jim and Jackie were awesome to visit with and amazing hosts. Upon arrival fresh vegetables right out of their garden were provided along with a bottle of wine. Top notch and we’re making plans for next year already.

Great fishing

The veggie crate was awesome, wine included! The row boat with trolling motor was a plus. We used it so much the owner had to keep recharging the battery for us. Our youngest loves to fish and she hauled in some big ones! Luckily there is air conditioning, it got pretty hot and humid a couple of nights. Overall a great time, thanks!!!
