Great walking and distance and close location to other towns (Salem, Boston, Glouster,etc) Fan favorite was Roy Moores..ate there almost everyday. Halibut Point State Park is right up the road and a beautiful hike

The home is very Central and an easy walk to everything. Beds are very comfortable and had a very quaint and nice atmosphere. The kitchen was sparsely amended but the only thing that we really missed having was a toaster. Get ready to drop your stuff off and then park five or six blocks away. It's not as bad as it sounds.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Orca. It was clean and comfortable. Better yet, it is right in Bear Neck. The ambiance was wonderful mixing the old with the new.

Great family location

Our family had a great stay at the Orca! Wonderful location with walk ability around town and just a short drive to other excursions. The perfect set up for our family with 2 kids. Matt was prompt with responses and was able to help us with whatever was needed. If we visit Rockport again, we will be back to this spot!

My son and I had a great time . He wanted to see Salem and I didn’t want to stay in Salem . Found this beautiful area . 30 min from Salem by car . Loved the apartment the rustic look appealed to me . The location was fantastic. The shop owners were amazing and offered any information they had .

Perfect Offseason Getaway

My husband and I stayed at The Orca in early April and had a magnificent time. The property is very centrally located on Bearskin Neck. It's cozy and charmingly decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped, the living room and dining areas are spacious and nice, and the beds are comfortable. The shower stall is small, as some other reviewers mentioned, but that wasn't a big deal. The rest of the bathroom is large, with plenty of room to get ready. We really, really enjoyed out stay!

Perfect for a weekend

Stayed with our two kids. Loved the quaint space, had everything we need for a short stay. The location can’t be beat, a quick walk to the ocean, lots of shops nearby. Only downside is parking is not directly near property, but we didn’t have issues finding parking nearby.

Location, location, location!

This nautical inspired apartment had tons of character and couldn’t have had a better location. A coffee shop was just steps outside the front door along with all the charming shops and restaurants of Rockport’s Bearskin Neck. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location in Rockport

We were happy with our rental in Rockport, right on the cool street with little shops and 5 min walk from Front beach. Great ice cream place steps from the front door. The place itself was clean and comfortable. Nice porch table and chairs to hang out at by the door. The one thing i would warn other parents of, is that there is no door or curtain to close the bunk beds off from the rest of the space, and I hadn't grasped that from the listing. It can also be challenging to find non metered parking, especially Sat or Sunday. Best we did was bout 10 min walk from the place. That's the trade-off, though to be right in that street.

Charming Storybook Apartment!

I am local to Cape Ann but needed a last minute place to put up some visitors. My friend stayed with his 6 and 8 year old daughters. They LOVED the place. It is adorable. Very well decorated and charming. The host has done a great job making a smaller space comfortable, and it is right in the heart of charming Bearskin neck. My friend described it as like staying in a Storybook! I visited the property as well and it was well appointed with modern appliances (smart TV, newer kitchen appliances). Matt the host was very responsive to any queries and made the whole process easy. Really the only downside is not having a parking spot, but Matt made the parking situation very clear in the listing. And being in the heart of so many fun shops, restaurants and beaches really makes parking much less of an issue. I would highly recommend the Orca!
