Tutto l'anno casa incastonata sul fiume Moose. Facile accesso al lago Moosehead, motoslitte e sentieri ATV e sentieri escursionistici locali. Trova la tranquillità e le vacanze senza stress mentre ti godi lo scenario e le attività locali intorno all'area del lago Moosehead. Barche, motoslitte ATV e kayak sono i benvenuti. Casa arredata tutto l'anno pronto per l'affitto. I proprietari vivono nella casa accanto tutto l'anno. Un DEVE assolutamente definito! Due camere da letto con un letto matrimoniale e la seconda con un letto matrimoniale ed estraibile estraibile. Bagno completo con lenzuola e asciugamani arredati. Cucina completamente arredata con nuovissima stufa elettrica Jenair. Il soggiorno è arredato con TV satellitare. Il portico completamente coperto si affaccia sul fiume Moose ed è un luogo eccellente per leggere un libro o semplicemente guardare le barche che passano sul fiume. È inoltre disponibile un collegamento per pontile per una barca o un jet ski. Il focolare all'aperto è disponibile anche per gli incendi serali. L'utilizzo del kayak è inoltre disponibile.

Cozy little place

Cute little owner run cabin. Even though the owners live on site, there's a separation as the rooms are above the garage. They were friendly and the place was clean and cozy

Perfect place to stay

Stayed here for a few days, couldn’t be happier with the property and the hosts. Great location for all outdoor activities and great trail access. Will definitely be back!

Perfect compound for our stay

Loved our stay. Would recommend this spot for anyone interested in staring at the stars/milky way. Spent a couple nights at the firepit to end our perfect days. They even brought out supplies for smores one evening. The rooms are cleaner than anything we have ever seen. Mount Kineo shuttle is just down the road and a must visit. Saw two female moose on a drive to Kokadjo. Owners are salt of the earth and willing to do anything to make sure you have an enjoyable stay.

A gem in the heart of Maine

What a find! This rental was exactly what we were searching for: it was clean, well-stocked, and great for a home away from home. John and Lori-Ann are excellent hosts and both gave wonderful recommendations to the area and left us to our own devices. The space is above the garage to the main building and shares no walls with the main house. The garage itself was not used, and the space kept well insulated and private.

Great stay

Perfect place for our family of 5 to include 3 kids. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean. I wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts John and Lori Ann were amazing, friendly, and so accommodating. The location couldn't be better. Its directly on the Moose River and extremely quiet and peaceful. If ever in the area again, we will be looking to stay again. Thanks John and Lori Ann!

Great Winter Getaway

All of my communications with Lori-Ann were pleasant and clear. When we arrived, we were greeted by John and their dog Lou Lou. They were incredibly welcoming, it felt more like meeting family; when he learned we'd be snowmobiling, he set out chairs and a drying rack in the garage for us to dry any wet gear! John showed us around the apartment, it was well laid out, open concept. We had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable. The decor theme of woodsy Maine was great, there may have been a moose in every room :) It was really beautiful and relaxing. The snowmobile trails were right down the road, no need to trailer. It looks like they recently upgraded to a smart TV, that was a nice option on a day when me and my husband had to stay back. If you're looking for a relaxing get away this is it! We didn’t see a deck/porch overlooking the river, but everything was snow covered, so maybe on a summer trip we'd have seen it. We did see lots of deer come through the yard, which was pretty great. 5 stars! Thanks again Lori-Ann and John.

Second visit

We have visited twice and we will return when our travels take us to Moosehead! The space is well equipped, plenty of towels and dishes and cookware! Very comfortable and John and Lori-Ann are very accommodating. We love being greeted by their four legged hostess, Lou Lou.

A real gem with perfect hosts!

We couldn’t have been happier! The hosts were more than accommodating and we left feeling more like family than strangers. The house was cozy and very clean. There are lots of various things to do in the area especially if you like the outdoors. We are already planning our return visit! We highly recommend these hosts and their property!

February 2022 Moosehead trip

Very nice rental as advertised. This was our 2nd stay here . It is close to the lake as we were ice fishing. The owners very friendly and accommodating. Great time enjoyed by all!!!!

Better than expected.

We arrived and we’re met by John who was friendly and engaging, he assisted with bringing our belongings inside and even helped us move a larger container upstairs. John showed us the layout of the unit and where we could keep our outdoor gear in the garage and then explained where we could find the local stores and eateries. The unit was immaculate and much nicer than we could have asked for, the pictures don’t give it justice. We were able to meet Lori-Ann later in the afternoon and she was just as pleasant and both hosts made sure we knew to reach out if there were any concerns which there were none during our stay. The unit itself will comfortably sleep 5 as described and the bathroom was clean and spacious, the kitchen was very well equipped and included both a standard Coffee maker and a Keurig. The bed and pillows we used were comfortable but the single bedside lamp makes the room a little dark but other than that there is nothing to say negative about this place. We will gladly return and look forward to seeing the hosts again as we think it’s all about the friendly atmosphere that both Lori-Ann and John exhibited. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

rockwood weekend

This property was over a garage which was not disclosed, and did not have a deck over the river as described, but aside from that it was very nice and tastefully decorated, comfortable, roomy and quite. The host were very personable and accommodating. There were four in our group and we all agree we would stay again.

Quiet and relaxing

My husband and I had a weekend getaway for our 5th year wedding anniversary to Moosehead. We chose this location because it was close to ATV trails and had just what we needed. I was surprised to find that the place is above the owners garage, however, it was quiet and very spacious. We met the husband who helped us out with our side by side and letting us know where to go for the trails since a lot of them were closed. That was super helpful! All in all a great weekend which is what my husband and I needed to reboot.

Outstanding rental

Great Family Spot

Excellent Lodging

The owners, Lori-Ann and John were totally accommodating and very personable. The place was immaculate! John was always around to answer any questions and help us with anything we needed. We used their dock for our boat and enjoyed fishing Maine's biggest lake. I highly recommend this place!

Sweet Host

We arrived parked and never left.We enjoyed sitting on the dock & swimming,used the Kayaks that were available,walked and biked.John greeted us when we arrived and Lori-Ann made us chocolate chip cookies. Sweet host!!

Beautiful spot

We had a great time at the Moosehead cabin. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Our kids loved kayaking/fishing off the dock, and it was close to so many fun activities.

The host were awesome. Beautiful place.

Beautiful place. Very relaxing. Down to the dock was a littler hard on us. There was 66 steps down to the dock. I did not see this in the description when We rented this. But everything was awesome. Maybe our age is the reason the stairs were hard on us. Thank you for a lovely stay. I would recommend this to my friends.

Excellent Getaway

It’s been many years since we were on Moosehead and this location was perfect! John and Lori Ann were very quick to respond prior to our arrival. The apartment is very well equipped and very comfortable. There was not a thing we needed that was not available. It was spotless and very easy to find. If our travels take us back to Moosehead, we would return to this location.

Great stay

The property was absolutely beautiful and in a great spot. We loved that we were able to keep our boat right at their dock, and that the landing was just across the river. The hosts were great and John was very knowledgeable about the lake and fishing (which is what we were there for). We got a little confused on how to get into the apartment, but Lori-Ann messaged us and John came to meet us which was very nice and helpful
