Not Worth the MoneyI recently stayed at this beach house and was extremely disappointed given the price. Upon arrival, the front door kick plate was taped together, creating a security issue. The couch had a strong pet urine smell and was uncomfortable. The floors had sand, and the shower was dirty with sand and hair. The master bedroom lacked pillowcases and the bedding smelled and had very obvious stains and felt dirty and unwashed on all the beds in all the bedrooms. There was no privacy shades in master bedroom.Basic amenities were missing: no hand soap in the bathrooms, only one towel per person for 5 days, and the kitchen lacked essentials like salt, pepper, and potholders. The hot tub was dirty and contributed to an infected foot, requiring urgent care. It quite working and we had to call a service guy to fix it which created an inconvenience. There was no trash can until we found it out at the end of the culdasac. There was no way to use the hose unless you walked through the house all sandy to get to the turn on/off access. The backyard was advertised as pet-friendly, but the gate wouldn’t close, and the greenery was waist-high. The small walkway was very uneven and created a hazard of safety and one of my kids even slipped and fell due to its unevenness.While the location and views were nice, the house did not meet the standards I expected. I am requesting a credit for a future stay at any VRBO property to compensate for the lack of quality and cleanliness.
