  • Bonner Bridge is one of North Carolina's most well known man-made structures of it's kind (The Linn Cove Viaduct on the Blue Ridge Parkway is probably the most well known). This location makes for a great getaway at the Outerbanks to spend an entire day (and night). The location is popular for fishing and is ideal for landscape and astro photography. You can have lots of fun on some of the dunes, although getting the sand out afterwards is a big hassle. This is one of my favorite images from this location. I love the warm light tones and the shadows that create a contrast in the foreground sand. It is created from a single exposure with only minor modifications made to adjust overall contrast and brightness. If you are interested in wildlife, the Pea Island Wildlife Refuge is nearby and is a very popular location. ocean sounds on repeat

this was a nice beach cottage just steps away from the ocean. we were lucky with nicer weather a little bit later in the season and the place had everything we needed. It was clean and things worked properly. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our first trip to outer banks

It was a great house. It was not the cleanest at check in (bug in fridge under bottom drawer) kitchen floor not clean under barstools. Couch was dirty and needs steam cleaned but all in all it was a very comfy house. We got a full size fitted sheet for the master bedroom but it needed to be a Queen. The full size mirror on wall in master bedroom needed cleaning bad. Couches are very comfy so I slept on it whole week. It was very cozy and comfortable place to stay. Loved how close it was to the ocean. Loved the quiet family friendly atmosphere. My maltipoo loved the house and decks as much as we did. Lots of movies and books and games if you want them. Well stocked kitchen was nice. Loved the remodeled bath down stairs. House is outdated but we didn’t mind because it just felt like home to us. We will definitely stay again if we go back to outer banks on vacation. Really loved our stay all in all. Can I make one recommendation? Please add “Nights in Rodanthe” to your movie collection. We were thrilled to see just how close the Rodanthe Inn from the movie was a stones throw from this beach rental. If I were you I would definitely play that up in rental info 😉
