“Very close to all the important spots in town. Nice cottage but the sofa bed could be better. ”

“Book it! Loved the stay. Room was cozy and perfect for our needs. Ocean was a very short walk. So beautiful. Simon was fast and easy to reach through the app. And extremely friendly. Eat at the Golspie Inn. Delish! And so friendly there. Golspie golf was great!Side note, DO NOT use the local ATM for exchange rate. Fee was extremely high. Ripoff! Just use your credit card. Thank you Simon and Lyndsey.”

“Room and bathroom small but comfortable. Dinner was very average. Breakfast was good.”

“Camera pulita, appena rinnovata Ottimo ambiente Colazione adeguata”

“Nice one bedroom with mini kitchen and sitting room to stay for one or a couple, and a quick drive to Dornoch. Very clean and cosy, we liked the heated bathroom flooor and towel warmer - thoughtfully appointed.”

“I spent a night as a solo traveller. I enjoyed hospitality with friendly staff and helpful. Breakfast was very good. I ordered takeaway as the castle restaurant isn’t in operation. I was adviced on the restaurants that does delivery to the hotel.”

“This was a lovely gem in our Scotland 500 trip. The rooms are spacious and very clean, comfortable. The breakfast is a treat as well plenty for all. The staff was friendly and helpful”

“The Links Hotel is beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. We stayed in the newer building and when we walked into our room my first response was how much I loved the colors. Our room had a view of Royal Dornoch Golf Course. The bed was comfortable, the sitting area very nice and situated to the view. The huge bathroom was spacious and luxurious. We arrived to two little glass bottles of an Auld Fashioned with shortbread—yummy! There is an espresso machine and tea service outside the rooms...

“The property was nice and clean. Parking was easy, right on the property. Located right on the beach and footpath, so the ocean view was nice. The owner supplied all of the usual conveniences in the kitchen and bath. I was concerned about the Alexa device that seemed to be always listening, so we unplugged it. The radiator beside the tele was emitting an electronic signal, but I could not find the actual source. We were unable to operate the heating, so it was a little chillier than we expected....

“The Altnaharra Hotel is a backstep in the past. The staff was really nice. The room, the hall, everything is well manteined and frozen in the '80ies. ”

“Pleasant traditional Highland Hotel. Friendly and efficient check in. Bar well stocked with pleasant adjoining lounge. The venison dinner special was excellent. A good stopping point on way north .”

“Enjoyed our stay. Excellent accommodation, meet our needs. Will definitely return.”
