“Rooms are rather small but clean. Location is excellent - just across the street from the beautiful, not crowded beach. Beach with a lifeguard (which is important to me since I travel with small kids) is just steps away. A short drive to seafood restaurants and such. We will sure return. ”

“This is our second time staying at Shepherd's Run and we loved it again! We stayed during the week (with our 2 kids) and it is very quiet. I know there are weddings there on the weekends. The Inn and grounds are beautiful, the wine and charcuterie boards are amazing, the rooms are big and nicely updated with modern finishes and the breakfast is delicious!! I can't say enough good things about this wonderful Inn! ”

“Great location right in the center of Charleston. The hotel history was very unique. Had a fantastic sleep in the room. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Had a great dinner and also a breakfast for ourselves and friends in the morning. Grounds had a flea market that was fun to walk around. Will be back next summer!”

“We had 2 rooms, 1 needed ADA access. It did have the ramp, but no seating chair for the shower and it was located near the b k of the kitchen and the view from the window was the storage areas with beer kegs and what not laying around. The hotel location and the other room with a balcony were great. Need to improve on the ADA room though ”

“Francis Malbone House is an oasis in the hubbub of downtown Newport. All the wharves are easily walkable. It was less than 15 minutes to walk to the Elms. On site parking is a huge bonus. Daily breakfast is always delicious. But the best thing about this inn is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. ”

“My husband and I came for the night to celebrate our anniversary. The Burbank rose was clean, quiet, and walking distance to everything. Parking wasn’t too far. Our room had everything we needed for our stay. Priscilla was super nice and helpful for checking in and out. Will definitely come back again!”

“This property is perfect! I loved the stay at Burbank Rose Inn! Staff was amazing, room was spacious! The only thing was there is no elevator for when you need to bring your luggage up to the third floor (& back down). The parking lot is far but it was easier for us to pay for parking across the street. Overall, excellent stay - would recommend! ”

“Amazing location. Super clean. Room was a bit small but that’s only because we had a baby and a pack and play in the room but more than perfect for just two people. No food in hotel but plenty of amazing dining options very close by. Would love for hotels to offer early check in for a fee, but again only because of having our baby with us. “I have been coming to Newport for over a decade now and this was my first time staying at the Newport Bay Club & Hotel. The suite was spacious and bed was very comfortable. I got in extremely late, but the janitor was able to let me and gave me my room keys. The location was central to all of the restaurants, the marina, and nightlife. I did not bring a vehicle, but there is parking available if need be. I definitely will be looking forward to staying here soon!”
