Hot Tub!!! 2 Large Decks on Spirit Lake

This 3 bed, 2 bath cabin that overlooks Spirit Lake, is equal parts cozy and charming, featuring 2 decks with views, a private hot tub, and an electric burning fireplace.

This spacious cabin's secluded location ensures you to enjoy plenty of peace and privacy during your stay. The floor to ceiling windows of the cabin makes you feel like you are living in nature. The lake is currently empty due to issues with the stand pipe.

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

Lake was drained when we got there, would have been nice to know since it was it's biggest pull to the property. Half the lights were out and needed to be replaced. All the porch lights out except a motion light upstairs and a set of string lights by the hot tub. On the inside upstairs area half of them were out including over the dining area. The well water was safe I hope, seems like it needed to be treated because I have never smelt well water that bad. We took one shower each because we felt dirtier than before we got in, washed all veggies and made pasta with bottled water because it was so gross. Oh and that means the washer was the same so we couldn't do laundry. Scissors and can opener didn't work at all. I have had no contact with the owner and the property management was no help either, they are just ignoring me. Feel taken advantage of and that the property has some serious neglect. Feels like the lake being missing is something I should have been told in advance so I could change my reservation to another cabin. Property manager told me if I would have complained while there that they could have done something. I don't know why they can't do anything to make it right after but here I am. I did get back 150 for the lake but that's just 10 percent and so much more was wrong. Will never stay again. Be weary of this location.

Absolutely perfect!

The cabin and grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. It was spotless and well decorated. To call it warm and inviting would be an understatement! Plenty of dishes and cookware to prepare every meal. The location is beautiful and peaceful and absolutely perfect for our family. Excellent communication from the hosts as well. We will 100% be back more than once!

I wouldn’t go back

Location was beautiful. To find the cabin it is very important to have the Google images sent by property manager, without it, it would be very difficult. The turn into the driveway to the cabin is a sharp steep turn. The living room is very comfortable, apparently the recliner couches and armchair could not recline, since according to the property manager (who is very responsive) the power cords were taken by other guests, the armchair was broken on the side, the fireplace could not heat up it would give an error. The middle bedroom’s bed has a broken frame underneath. The towels had a funky smell to them and the bathroom rugs were dirty. The amount of lady bugs in the house was too much. The lighter had no lighter fluid in it. Most important the water smells like sulphur and it is definitely not able to be drunk, the flavor is awful, due to the water supplied from a well with sulphur. This is the reason I would not come back or recommend it.

Beautiful property. Guests should be warned to bring botteled water. The water from the faucet smells, looks and tastes very bad!!
