Large Cabin Located on Deer Water Lake

This spacious three-story cabin at Deer Water Lake features 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, accommodating up to 12 guests. Enjoy amenities like a hot tub, Wi-Fi, gas and charcoal grills, a fire pit, and two docks with canoes for fishing and swimming.

The first floor includes a master bedroom with a king bed, a large flat-screen TV, private porch access, and a Jack and Jill bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. The main floor boasts a grand living room with vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen with ample counter space, a dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, and more. The adjoining dining area offers scenic views of the lake.

The second floor features two bedrooms: one with two queen beds and another with four full-sized bunk beds, both with private closets. The lower level includes a game room, laundry room, and another king bedroom with a shared bathroom.

Outside, enjoy a wraparound deck, a screened porch with a propane grill, and a cozy hot tub for relaxation. Explore the target range, private docks, and nearby attractions like Red River Gorge and Muir Valley Climbing. Kayaks are available for guest use. Make this cabin your home base for adventure!

The natural process of weathering formed the arch over millions of years.   • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

Deer water cabin

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was exactly as pictured with lots of space and light.We were frustrated with the check in process as we had to stop at a separate location to get the code instead of having it emailed or texted to us. As the group was not all together and the service was spotty it made it difficult for everyone to get the information.We were disappointed to find out that the fireplace was not for guests. Likewise there were glasses in the cupboard that were broken and when we pulled out the cutting board it had food particles on it.The beds however were very comfy, the hot tub was enjoyable and the lake was beautiful. Overall we all had a lovely time and would love to come back in warmer weather to take advantage of the screened in porch and fire pit.Thank you!

Filthy

The house was absolutely filthy. I called when we arrived and to their credit the property manager sent a lady out to clean. She could not clean the whole house through jo fault of her own. Even the utensils in the kitchen were disgusting. Was a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10 for cleanliness. They also refunded our cleaning fee.

Just a few recommendations.

Need to provide more towels. You have one towel per guest, yet you have a hot tub. If you shower you need a towel and if you get in hot tub you need a towel. Two towels per guest recommended. Basement concern of only one entry. This could be a fire hazard. Last recombination is for guest to not clean the house before you leave. My experience has always been to have towels together and dishes in dishwasher running. We had to clean floors, take out garbage and have dishes washed and put up. I think tjis is too much.

Great sized A Frame near activities

We had 6 adult kids and us. It was easy to get to the zipline, Jeep tour & restaurants. Shared spaces were roomy. Lay out of house was good. Noise carries on the hardwood floors. Bring all of your towels, toiletries and those things. Not a lot of extra items-strainer, paper towels, etc. Was a great cabin for our stay.
