“Delightful stay at this historic property. Great communication from the inn keepers with detailed emails and instructions. Mario walked us through the check in process and was extremely accomodating with the rooms for me and my son's stay. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean. Beautiful view of the Carson Mansion directly across the street on a quiet residential cul de sac with some view of the water. Plenty of toiletry supplies in bathroom and a full kitchen with coffee/ tea bar...

“This hotel has amazing potential - but it needs significant work on the basic conditions. It is over 100 years old and in need of a full restoration of all basic infrastructure and all new FF&E. It is not appropriately priced for the condition. I for one, would love to be a GM of the restoration and see what would be possible. ”

“This is a very nice and old hotel. There are many antiques in it. Being in the hotel is like being in an old movie from the 40s and 50s. The public part of the hotel, no matter from which angle it is shot, has a very good sense of lens. The staff at the hotel are also very dedicated. I accidentally left my id in the hotel. “Very beautiful hotel, in a historic house of ferndale.room was clean, the bed was a bit small and too soft. Breakfast is served in the main room and there is some choice of hot and cold food. ”

“There was one main problem with our room - the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, the mattress fell into the middle and the bed creaked loudly every time you moved. We barely got any sleep. Also there was no soap or shampoo for the bath or the shower. The breakfast and hors d'oeuvres were very good. The hot water, shower and towels were quite good. ”

“Parking was great. Breakfast was good, but the coffee was bad every day. The room was clean. Amenities: there is a TV in the bedroom. Most of the staff I dealt with seemed to really dislike their job. There were two really great people, but I didn’t see them more than once. This venue has tons of charm and great location. Maybe staff was having an off week. Then again, this place was pretty expensive to be treated ”
