Colosseum Secret Domus 5 minutes to the Colosseum

Our house, is located 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum; it is an apartment on the 2nd floor of a historic building with elevator . It consists of a double bedroom with a Frau bed, latex mattress 160x190 cm, a spacious closet and a smart TV a marble bathroom with Teuco shower ,a living room with fully equipped kitchenette that is enriched with a sofa ,on which to relax. The sofa, turns into a real double bed (cm 160x190) with 20cm high memory mattress. Free Wi-fi and air conditioning. It can accommodate a maximum of 4 people

An ideal location within 30 minutes walk of most of Rome's attractions, but also close to Cavour Metro too. Monti is a vibrant place with lots of boutique shops to explore. The apartment had plenty of room for a couple and the little kitchen was sufficient enough to cook simple pasta meals in. I would certainly stay here again.

We had many issues getting to Rome, Gabrielle was amazing and extremely helpful when another location did not work out. This location was perfect and the apartment was exactly what we needed. We will absolutely stay here in the future

My Family and I are so grateful for the wonderful accommodations and hospitality shown to us by our host, Gabriele during our stay in Rome. From his warm greeting at our arrival to his “spot on” restaurant recommendations made our stay absolutely amazing!!! The proximity to the Colosseum and other attractions made getting around so easy!Gabriele is a very gracious and attentive host, who from our online booking thru our departure remained responsive to all our inquiries.Hopefully we’re able to stay longer on our next visit!!!By the way, his recommendation of Chicco di Grano was my family’s favorite!!! What an incredibly wonderful stay. The apartment is impeccably clean and has every single thing you would need. The bed was so comfortable, and they even provided a soft and harder pillow. Gabriel was prompt, attentive and informative. Of the 5 locations/accommodations I stayed at during my time in Italy, this one was the best. The location was amazing. Every single thing you could want is just steps away. I loved that I could just pop in and freshen up and go right back out. Such a well equipped apartment and thoughtful host left few questions. When I had a question, Gabriel responded immediately and was able to provide the information I needed. I felt so safe and "at home" here. My only hesitation in writing this review is that his place might not be available the next time I want to stay. Thank you so much for this amazing time. I am so grateful.🙏

We picked this property for its location in the Monti district and location to the Colosseum, Forum and walking distance to train station! Gabriel met us to help us check in/out, give us access instructions and walk us through the apartment. It was a good landing spot, close to many restaurants, gelato, bars .. even right on the street a few doors down. The bed is comfy, small kitchenette with Nespresso! Shower is tight but functional. Nice space for resting after walking the city daily. It was hot the first 2 days and the AC was not helpful. We had 2 portable fans with us to move the still air to help us get to sleep. Weather cooled down then fine with windows open (European way). We did some laundry in the washer and used the drying rack to lay it to dry! Worked great! Cute little place in a good location. It would be tight for 4 people but there is a small couch that opens to a bed that we did not test. It’s located in an access controlled building that is some rental/some personal apartments. Cute interior space. One note.. taxis do not like to come to the door for drop off so you may need to walk up from the main street.. short easy walk. Slippers provided! Good find!!

Perfect stay over the weekend in Gabriele‘s appartment. Close to all important spots in old town room. Many restautants and Bars around. Despite busy surroundings it is a quiet appartment. Fully equipped, you do not miss anything. Gabriele was personally present at check-in to help with all the details. We would come back!

Gabriele was a very accommodating and kind host. The apartment was exactly as described and gave us a wonderful start to our time in Italy. In addition, he gave us great information about where to find groceries as well as restaurants. He was very responsive and we were very comfortable reaching out to him as needed. Gabriel was the most awesome host He’s eye for detail was 100% He was so helpful to the two of us as we are of the older generation he was beyond patient when teaching us about the terrific Technology he has for his apartment!!
