Get Away From It All - romantica o in famiglia - in legno Cottage

Privata e appartata in una strada sterrata con poco traffico, ma di facile accesso. Nascosto in un boschetto di alberi vicino a un laghetto con una fantastica vista sulla montagna verso sud. Costruzione in legno autentico con un camino vero legno (legna fornita) e soffitto a volta. Timbers Cottage è circondato da 17 ettari con un piccolo laghetto per la pesca, la canoa o il pattinaggio su ghiaccio. Canoe e giubbotti di salvataggio in loco. Vasca idromassaggio all'aperto sul ponte che corre tutto l'anno. Vicini vicini a Est e Ovest sono ciascuno circa 1/4 miglio di distanza. Una camera da letto matrimoniale con letto matrimoniale, e un soppalco che può ospitare fino a 8 persone (4 letti singoli e 4 trundles singoli). Finito seminterrato con divano componibile, sistema di intrattenimento, e tavolo da biliardo.

As described. Amazing hosts. This was a getaway for myself, best friend, my kids, and their friends. Wonderfully relaxing for the elder adults and something to do for all the young people. From pool to fishing to riding local trails and exploring the nearby sleepy towns, there was something for everyone at any given time. Already planning next year!!!

The cabin is near the top of a mountain and is just a little slice of heaven. It is a great little log cabin with first floor living plus extra space in a loft and in the basement. The house was clean and well stocked. There is a hot tub, grill, fire pit and pond. Lots of field room for walking and we saw rabbits and a flock of wild turkeys. Can't wait to go back.

It perfect for any couple wanting to spend quality time together its so beautiful and peaceful theres plenty of room if you do have kids they have tons of extra beds and the the entertainment is a smart tv and a pool table if u need to entertain smaller kids i recommend bringing games every thing is about 30 minutes away from property but you can definitely find things to do i definitely recommend cant wait to stay again

Wow! What a place! My wife and I take this trip every year and after four years of new properties I think we found our forever getaway home!Where to start? The house is fantastically laid out with a beautiful fireplace (and plenty of firewood) in a room with nothing but windows overlooking the valley and mountains in the background where you can relax and watch the sunset. Looking for more…slip outside onto the deck and into the hot tub to enjoy the same view!The owner was quick to reply to questions we had upon arrival even delivering ice skates later on the week in a pinch so I could skate on the pond with my wife!The property is amazing and very quiet as only the few people in the neighborhood ever drove by. There are deer, turkey, and a bald eagle who made frequent visits to the trees right next to the house!Want to get out? You can be in town in about 20 minutes with multiple options for shopping and dining.I can’t wait to go back!

...and I mean "Perfectly!" The first thing that struck us about this place was its location. We wanted to "get away from it all" for three days to destress and enjoy a natural setting. And boy, did this place check that box. Despite living only 3 1/2 hours away, this place felt like a world away from our normal lives. Other highlights included the spotlessly clean hot tub, the very cool and beautiful architecture of the house, the canoe at the private pond, the well-appointed kitchen that was conducive to actually cooking with their clean/functional pots, pans and utensils, the pool table, the beautiful scenery for walks near the property, and the overall privacy of the whole experience. Five stars in all respects!

My husband and I were looking for a quiet weekend away to recover from life’s craziness and connect with each other….. we found exactly that and so much more! The house was even more beautiful in person, the fresh air was rejuvenating & the peacefulness of nature was just what we needed! I couldn’t imagine a better weekend away than we had and can’t wait to stay in this house again!!

This property was perfect. Everything was exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay so much. It didn't take long to get into NY, so we went up there a few times for food and scenic views. I highly recommend this location for a relaxing getaway. We will be back soon!

You can tell this place is beautiful in the pictures but this place took our breath away!!! We enjoyed 4 days of quiet, peaceful reading by the fire, naps, hotubs sessions, cooking and baking, baths, games of pool, walks with the amazing views, stargazing, enjoying the snow sunsets and sunrises….it was something out of a book and we already are looking to come back in May for my birthday! Beautiful place that we will remember forever!!!!

My husband and I needed a weekend away. When we arrived, we realized that the cottage was even nicer in person than the pictures show! We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars, the pool table for some fun and relaxed in front of a warm fire. The cottage was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed. The wifi worked great if you are looking for that too. Mat & Janice were fantastic hosts. We loved the surprises they left! This is definitely a place we will come back to!

This is our favorite place to stay in the upper PA area. Very clean cabin with everything you need. Quiet at night and during the day. Close enough to food and entertainment. Nice little pond to fish in and plenty of nature to take in. My wife and kids always have a great time.

The cottage is lovely, and the hosts make sure you have all you need to really enjoy the property -- firewood for both the sitting area fireplace and an outside fire pit, a hot tub on the deck...and the views out of every window are beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.
