Sophisticated Charm

Our stay at Giovanni & Flaminia's beautiful apartment in Rome was everything we could've asked for. The apartment is so spacious we couldn't believe it, with plenty of room for our 6-person group to spread out, and amazing storage in the bedrooms! It's situated a short walk to Piazza Navona, the Vatican, Castel St. Angelo and a ton of great restaurants & shops. It's the perfect home base for this city. The apartment offers great security and is very quiet & peaceful for relaxing. Flaminia provided transportation from the Rome airport and later to the train station for Florence for us which was so helpful. We loved the basket of bread, jam, fruit and wine waiting for us when we arrived! We hope we are lucky enough to stay here again in the future!

Unbelievable Family Apartment!

We have stayed in three or four other apartment in Rome on family trips there and this is by far our absolute favorite! We will never stay anywhere else! Unlike so many apartments that clearly haven't been lived in by anyone other than tourists, this home was thoughtfully recently renovated by owners for actual use. It was beautiful, super clean, uncluttered and perfectly organized. My husband and I were traveling with our two young sons and a babysitter. The three bedrooms were perfectly situated to give everyone privacy and their own bathroom. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Everything I needed, absolutely everything, was there, enabling me to cook many meals for our family and even host a couple of dinner parties of over ten people for our Roman friends. We stayed for three weeks and a cleaner came each week, cleaned expertly and changed the linens. As much service as staying in a hotel with so much better space! Giovanni and his wife were the most amazing hosts! They arranged a taxi pickup at the airport that met us at the gate and took us directly to the apartment. Giovanni was there to check us in and they had an amazing basket of fresh bread, jam, and juice and goodies that were so welcome after our overnight flight! Giovanni also helped us buy tickets for two big local soccer games during our stay--something that can be quite confusing for foreigners (we know from previous attempts) so we were so grateful! And when the cable Internet went down in the whole neighborhood for a few days, they rushed a mobile hotspot right over to us. Oh, and their family makes the most amazing wine! I'm hoping it is exported to the States soon. They are such kind and wonderful people. The location is perfect! We have stayed all over Rome and this is our favorite spot. Super close to everything--all the sights you want to see--and yet still quiet and more of an authentic Roman neighborhood. The apartment is right by Piazza San Salvatore in Lauro which is our new favorite piazza: used by locals, and uncrowded so our boys could play soccer there everyday. Grocery stores are right close by and we could walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go. And there is a taxi stand around the corner. But the best thing about this location is its proximity to Gelateria del Teatro. The absolute best, artisanal, homemade gelato in Rome. No better way to end a day. You'll never regret staying here! I know we'll be back!

Central, beautiful, spacious Rome apartment

Giovanni and Flaminia's apartment was perfect for our party of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids), beautiful with its modern furniture but old fashioned wooden floors. Each room had its bathroom, and the kitchen is very nice, so nice that we dined all the time there even though there is a big dining room. Giovanni and Flaminia were wonderful hosts and even had a foldable crib and a high chair for our baby. The apartment is super central, just right by piazza navona which is gorgeous. The neighborhood is full of cute little streets, small shops, and delicious restaurants. All in all, a great vacation.

Great place to stay in Rome

Our family of four had a great stay for our first time in Rome. Easy walking distance to the Vatican and the apartment was excellent and very easy check-in with great communication. The host even coordinated private cars for travel to/from airport and train station.

Great location and good for a group

The accommodation was clean and convenient for our group of 5. The living area was outstanding to enjoy as a group. Asked for extra towels and received super fast. Had some issues understanding the washer, but eventually figured it out with a google search. En-suite shower drain had some challenges which they tried to improved, but it continued to drain slowly. Overall, a great stay with very minor issues and quick response. Would stay there again and recommend to others.

Dreamy Roma Vacation

The apartment was absolutely perfect for our adult family of 6 (3 couples), with each having own bathroom/shower and the beds in 2 of the rooms say “queen” but I think closer to king size. We were in Rome for 10 nights over the Christmas holiday and there was wonderful space to spread out, have breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen before exploring, and there is a small lift to get you to the 4th floor. They even provided a small decorated Christmas tree for us. On the Via Dei Corinare, we walked nearly everywhere so it is a perfect location. Host and staff were extremely responsive, and they serviced the apartment twice with fresh sheets and towels which was so appreciated. Cannot recommend this highly enough. Just a fabulous experience!

Great apartment in a central location.

This apartment is as described. If you are visiting Rome and want to be able to walk to a lot of tourist sites, this is a great choice. While I would absolutely stay here again, I will mention the minor drawbacks we had. Construction noise begins early (as of Oct 2024), the road is torn up and and I don't know when it will complete. Also, this is in a neighborhood that is surrounded with bars and restaurants. The weekends were noisy on one side of the apartment until pretty late. But don't be deterred, unless that's a deal breaker for you. It was fine for us. Also find some restaurants ahead of time and don't just walk into places, there are a lot of tourist traps nearby and you will regret it. Overall, it was a great stay.

Perfect location

Check in was very easy someone was there when we arrived to let us in and go over details. The host booked us a ride from airport to apartment. Apartment was extremely clean and tidy. Much larger than I was expecting!! 3 large king size bedrooms with bathrooms to include hairdryers. Location was superb. Easy walking to all main locations we walked everywhere. Very nice restaurants just outside the building. Perfect stay in Rome!! I will return to this location.

5 adults- we each had our own bedrooms & baths. Great location- markets, shops & restaurants right out side your door. Piazza Navona a short walk away. We absolutely love Rome and this property!!

The host was helpful throughout the planning process and communicated with me promptly. Flaminia helped with arranging transfers for me and my family from the cruise port and airport. The staff was present at check in to help with luggage and go over all of the amenities. The property is clean, well appointed, and located perfectly to tour central Rome. We could not be more pleased.

Great Location, Fabulous Apartment

Everything about our stay was excellent! The host provided all the information we needed prior to our arrival including a recommendation for a chef that we scheduled to come to the apartment for a cooking class and offers to setup transportation. The host was very flexible with check-in when our arrival time changed to later in the day. Check-in and getting into the apartment was very easy. The apartment is spacious, well lit, with comfortable beds and all of the conveniences we needed. The location was very convenient, and we easily walked to all of the places we wanted to see including the Vatican museum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the River Tiber and Campo De Fiori. The apartment was surrounded by many fine restaurants and shops that made it easy to find really good pasta, pizza, gelato, coffee, wine and supplies. We would highly recommend this apartment!

Relaxing in Roma

The apartment was very spacious. We traveled with our grown family, so wanted 3 bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms. Large living room, dining room and separate kitchen with table. Very comfortable. Provided mid week cleaning. Immediate response when contacted host. Sent a car for us at the airport, would aldo give cookjng lessons ir a dinner.
