Vatican Sweet Home in st.Peter

Il nostro appartamento luminoso e accogliente appena ristrutturato è ubicato al piano terra di uno stabile ristrutturato nel centro storico di Roma: a soli 5 minuti dai Musei Vaticani e la basilica di San Pietro. E' composto da 2 camere matrimoniali con bagno interno, un ampio e luminoso soggiorno e una cucina completamente attrezzata e confortevole per rendere gradevole il momento della prima colazione, del pranzo e della cena ai nostri ospiti. L'appartamento è arredato con cura, anche nei particolari prestando molta attenzione alla pulizia dei locali. Ciascuna stanza ha un colore predominante che la identifica. E' possibile aggiungere dei posti letto nelle stanze a seconda delle esigenze dei nostri ospiti. L'intero appartamento offre Internet Wi Fi, sistema di condizionamento (freddo-caldo) e termo autonomo in ogni ambiente, TV Led satellitare e Asciugacapelli. I bagni dispongono di docce in muratura. La biancheria da letto e i teli bagno sono inclusi nel prezzo ed è previsto un servizio di pulizia gratuito ogni tre giorni di soggiorno. A richiesta la struttura propone un puntuale e efficiente servizio navetta da e per gli aeroporti, stazioni o luoghi di interesse. Altro servizio a richiesta è la preparazione da parte di professionisti di pasti ispirati dalla più rinomata cucina romana.
Inoltre nel nostro appartamento ci sono a disposizione dei nostri ospiti dei depliant con percorsi alternativi ed itinerari culturali all'interno di Roma, e delle mappe della città molto utili per gli spostamenti.

La mia famiglia ha soggiornato in questo appartamento alle porte del Vaticano. Appartamento veramente bello, ottima posizione, a due minuti dalla metro e ancora meno da un grande supermercato. Tutto bellissimo, dalle due camere con bagno privato e dal soggiorno/cucina, funzionale per il soggiorno che ci eravamo prefissi. Che dire, ottima accoglienza dai proprietari. se dovessi ritornare a Roma vorrei ritornare in questo appartamento, per 4 persone è l'ideale.

Vatican close

The place is quaint and cute. Looks like the pics. Close to the Vatican and in a super cute neighborhood. Rooms far enough apart that each of us couples had plenty of privacy. The common area was very comfortable to hang out and chat. Air conditioning was great and blackout blinds excellent. We would stay here again.

Great location minor touch ups needed

The city of course is old so we weren’t expecting new or even super modern. The sewage system isn’t in the owners control but the bathrooms had a bad sewage smell. We could tell the owner attempted to update the house but it needs a paint job, fixtures were hanging and semi broken, holes in the wall were patched or barely patched. It’s a bit noisy because it’s a high traffic area but the location being blocks from the Vatican made up for any sound issues. Very nice cofes located a few doors down. Grocery store was a 2 min walk we could not ask to find a better location centrally located. I want to make sure you all aren’t reading this negatively but just to make sure the photos aren’t 100 percent accurate. Would I say here again? Yes! The location made up for any visual details. The owner was attentive, nice, and communicative.

Completely inaccurate !

This was a complete disaster! -The air conditioning didn’t work in the front bedroom and my children had to sleep on the couch. -no instructions for the laundry machine or detergent. -neighborhood is filled with graffiti. -the apartment looks like it’s still under construction. -the host, didn’t respond to the air conditioner issue for 3 days, and then tells me that he snuck into the apartment when we were out. The only problem, is that he told us he only had one set of keys, which were the ones we had in our possession. -DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Apartment was perfect for us . First floor , easily accessible . The A/C worked great !It was extremely hot the week we were there . Beds were comfortable , bathrooms clean . Washing machine broke during our stay , so that was difficult . We had to reuse the towels without ability to wash them .Would have been nice if they provided more towels due to the situation . Property could use a little updating . Walls and fixtures a little beaten up . However. overall stay way good !

A comfortable apartment to stay in Rome.

Location was just perfect! A famous market to get fresh produce, supermarket nearby, metro stop around the corner, apartment well stocked, to name a few pluses. A Vatican City just a few blocks away! Alessandro was wonderful, above and beyond 5 star hospitality. He even arranged a transport to the airport. I will definitely return and recommend this apartment for longer stay.

The host allowed us to check in earlier. Communication was seamless. Clean and convenient location! Walking distance to The Vatican City & restaurants. Turn the white noise on when you sleep - apartment is on the Main Street which is noisy. The noise didn’t bother us then. Thank you, Alessandro

Great place with some drawbacks

This apartment was great for what we needed, but it did have some drawbacks. It is a bit removed from the heart of everything, however, it is super close to the metro. We found that to be very convenient and helpful. It's also a ground floor apartment on a BUSY street corner. It was very noisy all night long and the shades need to be closed, making it dark. Communication with the host was not super great, but I think that was more of a VRBO issue than the host not being responsive. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable and spotless, with everything we needed, so all in all, we were happy with our choice.

Wonderful apartment

We stayed in this amazing apartment during part of our stay in Rome. It’s within walking distance to the Vatican and is near the metro station and supermarket. I highly recommend this apartment to anybody.

Convenient to Vatican City

The unit was very clean and had been remodeled recently. It is ok for a very short term stay. The apartment is below street level so there is basically no natural light. Living area is small. There is a a washer/dryer combo which was very nice. There is a dorm size refrigerator and stove top burners. There is a little of everything plates,cups,utensils. The bed was comfortable. Above the unit there must be small children so expect noise in the night. The air conditioner in one of the bedrooms did not work. We contacted the rental company but it was never taken care of while we were there so the nights were miserable for the people in that room. Expect to have to send messages over and over to the rental agency before they answer you if you have a question or problem. The apartment is walking distance to Vatican City,stores,restaurants and the taxi stand.

Rome in a mere three days.

Excellent accommodations with the loviest restaurant right next door. We ate there every night. My only complaint is this apartment is not within walking distance of the Vatican! No way. We used taxi/Uber.

Wonderful apartment

We had 5 people staying at the apartment and we fit comfortably. The apartment was clean and it was nice having two full baths. Kitchen large enough to enjoy a coffee and play some cards. Location is perfect. Walking distance to Vatican, train station and bus. It’s easy to get to all the main sites from apartment. Plenty of restaurants and bakeries nearby and grocery store across the street. Host very attentive and available if you need anything (we didn’t). Highly recommend.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

The property itself was just as pictured, beautifully decorated, very clean, fully stocked with plug adaptors, menus, air conditioning, cooking supplies, utensils, and especially appreciated...coffee and teas. I was very stressed when I realized that our ship would dock at 8am and check-in wasn't until 2p. I didn't know what we would do we all out luggage in the meantime. I called Alexandro when we arrived at the apartment at 9 am, He called his mom and she arrived within 30 mins to let us in to place our luggage. We were able to tour the city in comfort while she readied the apartment. I loved the decore so much, I asked my husband to copy the kitchen counter. The location was very convenient to the metro to all the historic sites, a market across the street for supplies and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Wonderful place to stay, A+, would have stayed longer if we could.

Just as pictured

We had a nice stay here! Everything was very clean, ac worked great, and it was close to many shops and restaurants. Some of the areas for tourist attractions were a bit far by foot especially with the heat in June but the metro is super close and that puts you about 5 minutes to where every you might want to go. Some have mentioned that your on the bottom floor so you hear the door open and close but we didn't have any issues with this. I thought it was nice that we didn't have to carry our heavy suitcase very far! The host was easy to communicate with and the instructions to access the apartment was very clear and detailed. Thank you so much for sharing your apartment! We had a great time and would recommend this place to others.

Our Visit to Rome

The property was great for our family. Plenty of room and having 2 bathrooms was very helpful with 2 teenagers. Street noise took a bit to get used to, but overall a nice neighborhood, with a coffee bar right around the corner and a grocery store about a block and a half away. Very close to the metro stop which was helpful since the apartment is northwest of the Vatican (because of that we didn’t really come back during the day so if you want to take advantage of an afternoon siesta, this might not be the place for you). I would stay here again!
