“Unfortunately I stayed on a Monday/ Tuesday when the bar and restaurant are closed so cannot give a review of any amenities. The room key was in a key lock external to the property. Room was clean and tidy and would definitely stop again but not on the days the bar / restaurant are closed.”

This didn't jive with the pictures of the chalet bungalows we had seen on the website. “Horrible room, dirt and grime everywhere. Sticky floor. Bed clearly just remade after previous guests or squatters, black hairs and pubes. Bed cushion had ominous stains! Slept fully clothed! No WiFi code despite being the selling point and even requesting it. Was told to let them know if arriving after 9pm or they couldn’t help with anything, which I did, but no response to wifi question! Weird selection of a couple of old forks, bowls, mug and the kettle didn’t work and smelled like someone...

“Room is clean, staff is nice, the kitchen is clean. Therefore it was hard to check in when you first come, no sign, no number to contact because no office there. Should have a note to contact the landlord.”
