Hotel vicino a Root River -

“Hot tub was shut down. Appliances in room was controlled by a light switch that we didnt know of so our fridge was shut off all night & we lost our freezer food, milk etc. Also wasn't aware that they rent rooms monthly & the government pays for people to stay there. Most have been staying there for over a year. We will never be back to this hotel.”

“Great non commercial place. Friendly staff. This is an older hotel/motel but it is well kept and maintained. Room was very clean. Almost felt like being at home. Can’t say enough how much I enjoyed staying there. Highly recommend.”

“ Terrible experience male house keeper walk in while we where still in the room, we had just checked in our room he said he was doing a room check , felt unsafe do not stay @ this hotel”

“We have stayed here numerous times, and it is always a pleasant experience. The new easy self-check in and check-out was easy. Did not see anyone on the premises nor was the room cleaned. All was good - I just thought it was odd not seeing anyone working in the building. Our stay was nice and will continue to stay here yearly. :-)”

“Room for fine for the price we paid for as amenities go. However the room stunk like rotten milk bad. We opened the bedroom screen door as well as the windows but couldn’t get it out.”

“Room very well organized. Very friendly, helpful staff. Parking easy. No breakfast, water heater not functioning for one day but fixed. If you are a Mayo patient, there is a shuttle but it serves many hotels. Workable but runs less often and takes longer than dedicated shuttles at some nearby hotels.”

“Loved the space. The staff were great. I left my kindle and they were great about saving it for me to pick up on my trip back home. The breakfast was good. Would stay there again if I go back to Rochester.”

“This is an older hotel, but the rooms amenities and cleanliness, and staff made it worth the stay. We will return if there is ever a need.”

“Very close with to Mayo Clinic with parking, yet reasonably priced. Which was our main priority. Only complaints were the loud AC unit, that we just unplugged while sleeping. And could not figure out what shows were playing on TV channels. Next time we will have to ask the front desk.”
