We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge, the Sunsets, the Loons, the Fishing, the Kayaks and Canoe were also all wonderful!
Day 2 sunset. Every sunset was different and delightful.

The Loon Lake Lodge was a wonderful, comfortable lodge for our group! Serene sound of loons, beautiful sunsets and lots of walking trails! Loved it!

Owner was great to work with and responded promptly to all my questions about the property. He even allowed for us to have an extra dog for our stay which was huge to us!The view was amazing, however, the photos of the property are not current. Trees and brush have grown and are limiting the view. The lodge itself is comfortable and it was wonderful listening and observing the loons!Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Family Fun!

A wonderful place to stay! Everything you needed was provided. The house and property beautiful! The lake was great! We stayed during the heat wave in June, and it was hot, but we managed. I had a question and Jerry answered immediately. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely perfect! We loved our stay at the Loon Lake Lodge! Kids loved the fishing boat and thanks to the wonderful neighbors who gave us worms, we caught some monsters (from my 8 year old nephew’s perspective). Sitting on the deck watching the sunset and hearing the loons was amazing. Lots of memories made, and we will be back again for sure!

Family fun

Great cabin and excellent fishing. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you needed. Beds were very comfy and having 2 bathrooms was a plus. Enjoyed upper & lower decks. Lake was very clean.!!

Great Family Vacation

A beautiful cottage offering all the amenities we were looking for, as well as a peaceful lake just right for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, & boating. The bonus was these items were provided by the owner. Would highly recommend this property for a family gathering! Hopefully, we can return sometime in the future.

The Lodge in Rose City

The Lodge is wonderful! We loved the location, the beautiful lake and trees. The Lodge is beautiful inside and out. Everything you need is there. Bring your food, clothes and toothbrush. Very, very nice. We stayed there with our kids and grandkids and they loved it. Had our two dogs who had a wonderful time. Small motor boat, raft, canoe and kayaks were great! The storage cabinet by the dock wasn’t great, you might want to bring life jackets. The only other thing was no air conditioning and we had really hot weather a couple of days. Highly recommend.

nice get-a-way on wonderfl small lake, in a nice cabin in th woods

The property is in a wonderful wooded setting. We have rented this property last year as well- we love it. The owner is easy to work with. The property does need some "maintenance" work on the deck which is rotting away as well as the deck chairs. This would be an important update enhancing the property. The interior of the cabin is comfy and nice for a "rental". Highly recommend it. Hv.

Michigan Top 3 Lake

Outstanding, host and crew are very welcoming. Lodge is very clean and has a beautiful view of Loon Lake. This Loon Lake (one of 14 loon lakes in Michigan) should be listed in the National Geographic List of most beautiful lakes. The water is crystal clear, setting is peaceful and the sunrises and sunsets out of this world. Thanks Jerry for the taking care of the family.

Fantastic private getaway

This home was just what we needed! We had grandparents, parents, and four children staying to unwind after a hectic school year. The beds were comfortable. The wifi was fast even with many people on it. The kitchen was well appointed. The home was clean. The kids thought the upstairs loft was super cool. Having all of the boats was incredible. It made our 3-4 times per day walk down to the lake extra fun. For those who don't know, this isn't a shallow and warm lake. Even right near the shore, it is nice and deep. The water was very refreshing. We enjoyed going out on boats to a cove where we saw a bald eagle a few times! The home is located in between two towns - Rose City and Mio. Both towns have a lot to offer and the people are very friendly. My kids enjoyed the city playground in Rose City and enjoyed hiking in Mio. Both towns have grocery shopping, dollar stores, restaurants, boating supplies, and more. This was a great experience!

nice family get together-property handled everyone well.

The property is very nicely finished. There are a lot of "steps"to get down to the water, so if you have bad knees or joints, this is probably not a great choice. Beds were comfortable; everything needed in the kitchen was included; the water toys were nice; easy to work with owner. Recommend this property for a nice 1 week stay.

Cozy cabin on a lake

This cozy cabin on a lake is a great nature retreat. Enjoy morning coffee on the deck, kayaking and canoeing the afternoon, and snuggle up around a bonfire or indoor gas fireplace in the evening. Wifi was strong enough to work remote during our stay. Pictures don't do it justice!

A beautiful and serene location

My family of nine had a wonderful time at Loon Lake. It is a beautiful and serene location with the peaceful sound of the Loons. The weather was less than optimal during our stay, but we managed to find plenty of activities to keep us busy. Fishing was very good. We are catch and release fisherman. The home is just beautiful and tastefully decorated. We had ample sleeping room for all. I highly recommend it. The swing was a wonderful place to sit while watching the bald eagle soar around the lake. I would recommend it and hope we can go back again.

Wonderful experience

Once again, we had a great time at Loon Lake. Beautiful views and a lovely cottage. We can't wait to return.
