Cottage a Roseland

“Our stay was fantastic! Great location for wineries and hiking. Perfect for a couples getaway for privacy and quaintness. Will definitely consider booking again if we ever come back to the area!! ”

“A lovely place to stay and relax! Not far to get to wineries and to Charlottesville. Thank you for a lovely stay!”

“They were great ! Hairdryer wasn’t working and they replaced it immediately. Cabin was cute and beautifully maintained.”

“Nicely kept and great pastoral location. Would recommend adding a few more kitchen supplies to make cooking a little easier. Really did not enjoy a corner camera and alarm at parking area that would go off everytime you walked by. I've never experienced that at a short term rental. Overall pretty good stay though”

“Great place, idyllic. Be sure to get good directions from the host. 104 Fredericksburg rd took us the wrong way. Once we called and figured out where the entrance was we were good. Great spot.”

“For our first visit to the Natural Bridge State Park area, we chose to stay at a Vrbo property nearby in the Lexington , VA area. The Rustic Bayberry property nailed it on every category. We had great communications from the property owner & truly enjoyed our time there. Thanks to the Meads for a fabulous...

“Good location, very spacious for 4 guests. Excellent choice of LVP flooring instead of carpeting as there was significant rainfall both days of the visit that would have suffered wet shoes on departures and arrivals at the house.”

“We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the cottage! Heather responded quickly to messages. I do feel like there could be some areas of improvement with cleaning as all the picture ledges, lamp shades and some of the walls have layers of dust and I’m not sure if the place was swept or vacuumed before we came. I understand it’s in the middle of the woods but the amount of living and dead stink bugs was astonishing!! Not sure if pest control could help that out since one fell on me on the couch oh and...

“Had a great time! Great place to enjoy the mountains!”

“Wonderful spot for a weekend in Charlottesville. House was perfect —very quiet with a lovely view.”

“Nice quiet location just off the main road. Front bedroom door did not close, knob to control water in the shower fell off while turning but was able to put it back on. Otherwise everything was great!”

“We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and so clean. The area is equally beautiful and so convenient to the vineyatds and Charlottesville. Thanks and we hope to be back soon!!”
