Charming building with lovely hosts
Really charming venue hosted by a lovely couple. Cracking value for money with the breakfast included (and good variety of options). Opposite handy village shop too. Would definitely return.

We booked this at short notice on Expedia and the hosts were very accommodating. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable bed and lovely shower. The breakfast was outstanding, as was the pub down the road for dinner,Penny Farthing. Only one comment the advert states more than once it has laundry facilities, however we’re advises there was none, so will seek out a laundromat at our next stop, however it was a selling point as we have been travelling for 6 weeks and over laundromats.

No frills
Very basic no frills B&B bed. Bed was large & very comfortable. powerful electric shower but very loud. lots of road noise from 7am. Breakfast was plentiful & filling Lots of bric-a-brac & knitted bunting in dining area ( not my kind of decor) Weather was beautiful during stay & we sat outside in the garden with a glass of wine one evening before we went out for dinner, but table chairs dirty, no cushions & concrete patio area also very untidy & dirty

Thank you for taking the time to write your awful comments. Lets start from the beginning. No frills?If you were expecting a hot tub etc, sorry you were disappointed. We are a 500 year old property, oozing with history, which most of our guests love.Bric a brac?? As we are experts in antiques, we find your comment laughable, and pretty much sums you up. Knitted bunting? We support local artists and crafts, but would not expect you to get that.. Dirty table and chairs? It is teak furniture, painted in frenchic paint. Weathered yes, dirty no. No Cushions? Given the inclement British weather, we do not leave them out. People tend to ask. You did not ask for cushions, but were quite happy to ask us to chill your wine..go figure. We had a complaint from a fellow guest, who remarked they were disgusted by your foul language at the breakfast table, as you were hungover. You were probably over the drink limit when leaving here. Kindly go and spend your Tesco vouchers elsewhere, as you are no longer welcome here.

Friendly owners who accommodated us after I made the error in booking. Lovely freshly made breakfast owner make their own bread and jams. Delicious.

Nicely renovated property. Bed very comfortable. Fantastic breakfast, nicely presented. Hosts very friendly and welcoming Parking a bit tight for the last guest arriving but that’s a minor point.

Homely and comfortable
Very welcoming hosts Alan & Sophie who couldn't do enough for us. Very comfortable house. We stayed in the 'Cider Room' which was very large. The only thing to be aware of is that it is near the main road so there is some traffic noise. Great breakfast, lots of choice. Try the homemade granola it is delicious. Located next to a local pub and a good little curry house . 10 minutes drive into town.

Short break
Andy and Sophie were very welcoming and helped us with our planning. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of extras. The bed was very comfortable but the Cider Room has morning traffic noise. The crown inn next door serves excellent Indian cuisine

Great little b and b
We were only there for 1night but what a fabulous b and b, our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, our room was beautiful and the breakfast was plentiful, although this b and b is on a road please do not let that put you off staying here as it is very quiet at night, we had dinner in the pub next door, the decor is dated but the Indian food is superb, we would highly recommend.

Great start to the day
We were only at Least House for one night but it was great, full of character and very comfortable. Andy and Sophie were really helpful, and the breakfast was brilliant, local produce and homemade bread, jams, muesli and granola with fresh fruit. Hope to be back soon!

Fantastic countryside B&B
What a fantastic B&B. The hosts were very friendly and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower great. To top it off I was made a lovely full english breakfast. A great place to stay.

Very Nice, lovely people, great place to stay
B&B easy to find, car parking. Owners extremely helpful and friendly can't ask for more than that. Bedroom very nice, loads if space with en-suite. Breakfast very nice Highly recommended

Comfortable hideaway
We were met by Sophie who was lovely. Our room was comfortable and very clean.it was on the main road although fairly quiet as a bank holiday.the owners are very environmentally friendly and also support local businesses by using local produce. Although quite remote in location there was a pub next door which we were pleased about as too tired to drive for a meal. It has an Indian restaurant working from it and the food was really delicious with friendly staff.the breakfast is ordered the night before as cooked freshly.we had poached eggs which were cooked beautifully. There was lots of choice available and we also helped ourselves to cereal / toast from homemade bread and homemade jams. Breakfast is round a shared table although we missed the other guests but had a great chat to Sophie and Andy who clearly have an absolute love of their business.they even sent us off with some tomatoes from their garden....which were delicious.we were only passing on our way home but location is great for exploring the area.would definitely stay again.

Good position for sightseeing.
We were made very welcome by Sophie and Andy who looked after all our needs and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and comfortable with all facilities. We had the cooked breakfasts which were excellent. We would highly recommend Lea House.
