Hotel a Ross-on-Wye

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Royal. The staff were really helpful and efficient. The food was excellent and really good value for money. We ate here for two nights as it was very good. The rooms were clean and we had a lovely view of the river and the shops were close by so a nice location. You could park so everything worked well. Thankyou to everyone who works here for a very nice break. We appreciated our time there.”

“Very happy overnight stay in a family room for a family of four. Very homely atmosphere, the hotel is an older building so a bit quirky but nothing to detract from being comfortable. Played table tennis and pool on the small & unbalanced table - all good fun for non-serious players. Food was good too.”

“This is an aged property but they have done a great job keeping it clean. The bathrooms are remodeled with very good water pressure, sufficient space. Room is spacious for 2 of us with beautiful river view in Room 7. Daily cook to order breakfast is included in the room is a plus. The food here is delicious from breakfast to dinner. We had Easter Sunday lunch here unfortunately this wasn’t as good as the regular dinner. I assume it’s because of the large quantity of food the kitchen has to cook...

“It’s a lovely place to stay if you like walking a lot. It’s a short drive to local places of interest. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. The ladder up to the bedroom is quite a quirky feature. Overall it’s a lovely cosy base to explore from.”
