“Phil is a great host, he explained and gave us a quick tour of the property, he gave us good recommendations for little excursions. The property was clean and very cosy, I would always recommend for anyone who wants to get away from the busy city life... ”
“It was a great place to stay, its something new and different, when i stayed me and wife were the only 2 people checked in, we meet the owner of the property got a tour around the place, the garden area needs a little TLC on the path ways but we didnt mine this it was nice, the owner is extremely happy nice lady she was upbeat and chatting each time she saw us made sure we were okay and check if we needed anything.

“L’hotel è un antico edificio di epoca Tudor. Si trova in pieno centro, a pochi passi dalla cattedrale. Non ha parcheggio che però si trova a pochi passi. È una delle più antiche strutture d’Inghilterra quindi è consigliato a chi ama lo stile d’epoca e meno a chi vuole il contemporaneo, sebbene i bagni siano appena stati rifatti e siano quindi contemporaneissimi. Per chi ama le atmosfere vecchia Inghilterra è perfetto. Il pub interno ha ottime birre”

The hotel is a little out of town, however the food in the hotel is excellent and has a wide choice, with a reasonable selection of vegetarian food, so no real requirement to go out. “Interesting rambling hotel built into the hillside, resulting in multiple steps up to the bedrooms. Excellent restaurant and friendly and helpful staff.
Minor niggles on the plumbing & shower: the cold pipe appear to be bundled with the hot and produces tepid water unless run for a long time - not ideal in a heatwave. The soap dispensers are about head level that make them awkward to operate. A lower location would be better. No basket or shelf in the shower for flannel or own soap or shampoo.”

Unica pecca la colazione, costituita da una pastarina, un succo ed una banana, da consumare in stanza, senza un posto per appoggiarsi. (sarebbe bastato un tavolinetto fuori dove il posto c' è).
