“Fantastic stay overall, the location is perfect and the bed was honestly one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The staff were brilliant too; despite what some previous reviews have said, the restaurant team may be young, but they’re extremely welcoming, hardworking, and far from inexperienced. Just a small note for future guests: if you prefer a more filling breakfast, be prepared to pay an extra £10 for the full option, as the continental selection is quite limited. That said,...

“Sarah & Marc met us as we arrived with a drink & a chat to welcome us. The room with en-suite was beautifully decorated, clean & quiet. The breakfast menu was very varied with fruit, cereals, juice etc to start, and a varied menu with plenty of choice for the main course, beautifully cooked. Would highly recommend. Thank you both for a lovely stay”

“I love this little pub - second time I’ve stayed here while passing through. The owners and staff are lovely, the food is nice, the rooms are comfortable, and the area is stunningly gorgeous - I’ve been on some great walks along the Dart River and the other way onto Dartmoor. It’d be a great place to stay for a walking trip. ”
