Cottage a Route 66 Storica

“Beautiful view and cozy room! Plan to return!”

“We loved this place. I took my daughter and 2 grandsons for a last outing before school and it didn't disappoint. The home was so clean and roomy. Nestled under several oak and black walnut trees (the 22-month old boy thought the walnuts were balls) makes it nice to sit outside without the sun bearing down on you. Easy entry and exit out of the property with a jet ski being pulled. A boat would work just fine. Sara is very prompt with communication, even when you get a little lost getting there...

“The house looks nice from the outside.inside is nice as well. The lack of comfortable furniture to sit on was one of our complaints they have a futon couch, coffee table and a tv in the living room and that was it. Only bed and end table in bedroom no tv or dressers ”

“Very clean and was a very welcoming.”

“The house was super cute and in a very quiet part of town, which I loved. As a bonus, there was a white squirrel in the yard when I pulled up!”

“Water smell”

“Great view of the lake plus staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Only drawback eas the shower floor and seat were very slippery. This was reported to the staff upon checkout so it’s probably been taken care of now. The Eatery Pub had great food. It averaged 105 the 5 days we were there so the fishing was BAAAD! even with a pair of experienced guides with electronics. We are definitely coming back when it’s cooler!”

“Our Caseyville IL stay was very nice, the location close to Cahokia Unesco site and St. Louis made it perfect for the two of us.”

“It was very quiet nice house on a nice road not busy traffic. Wonderful to be in with children who needed some quietness while they slept. Hopefully we will stay here again next year when the junior high rodeo is in town.”

“Place was great and very pet friendly! Beds were comfy! We had dinner at Mel's on the Madison and the food was outstanding!”

“Well furnished, quite, with a lot of extras kayaking, fishing and pull up to your room.”
