“Amazing! The room was very classy with a Japanese twist. I ate in the restaurant downstairs and had the 5 course tasting menu with paired Sake. Wow! So good thank you guys! Will be back!”

“The room was well proportioned and it has a lift, Yeah! So many places in England you have to try dragging 20kg bags upstairs. The food was really good which surprised ups as the menus did not look exciting but was well cooked and very tasty”

“La stanza era molto accogliente e carina. Ma la pulizia piuttosto sommaria, la polvere andrebbe tolta! Per fortuna lenzuola e asciugamani erano pulitissimi. Bella l'idea della macchinetta per il caffè...peccato che non ho avuto il coraggio di usarla! Anche quella andrebbe pulita!! Tralasciamo le macchie sulla moquette...purtroppo è davvero poco igienico questo tipo di pavimento. Colazione continentale discreta. ”

“The view of Winchester Cathedral from my bedroom was amazing. All of the staff were extremely helpful and positive including promptly resolving air temperature issues in my room. The room was spotlessly clean. But the room felt rather tired with scratched and battered furniture and a dated bathroom. The decor in the bar and restaurant did not reflect the historic location of the building and seemed very generic and unimaginative”

Il bagno era stato pulito molto in fretta, se era stato pulito: sul lavandino c'eral'impronta di una saponetta usata precedentemente, la parte del WC sotto l'asse era sporca di urina in più punti. Il pavimento del bagno era stato scopato, ma lurido perché non lavato probabilmente per più giorni. Nella teiera nell'armadio della camera abbiamo trovato le bustine di té bagnate del cliente precedente!...

“Can't give a review as we the taxi driver his sat nav and I could not even find the place, finally got to an address but it was a flat, no reply when we knocked. tried to contact you and place but could not send email for some odd reason. Tried again and again no success. I then had to find another place to stay, thankfully the taxi driver was very helpful, feeling bad for me. Really would think twice about trusting you in future, not a good experience. ...

“Hotel is in a lovely area and looks beautiful inside and out. The staff I met were nice, however was disappointed after having a long day to arrive and told they were not serving any food (was around 7pm). Our room was nice and mostly clean (empty bottles were left on the floor when we arrived) and the TV would only work on BBC1 and ITV and we couldn't use the remote as this didnt work either 🙈”
