“While I didn’t feel like the room was dirty, it stunk with a heavy odor of microwaveable make flavored breakfast sausage. It permeated the air and made it very difficult to sleep even after I went to the store, bought Febreeze and sprayed it everywhere. My husband did ask for another room and the associate at the desk, reluctantly offered one upstairs but said it was against hotel policies since they liked to keep the guests with pets on the first floor. “It was unkempt. It appears the hotel has several rooms rented out for long term rentals/living space. The pool was treated in the early evening on a day that was blistering hot—so not useable Dog crap in the hallway An unconfirmed drug overdose (the police officer would not confirm or deny; told is “whatever you suspect happened is likely correct”) I left one day early and paid to stay at a safer hotel”

“I honestly wouldn’t know because they couldn’t even find my reservation. Then when he did find my reservation, he told me he had no rooms that he would refund me the money. Instead of refunding me the money he ended up charging me again so after I got to where I was finally staying, I had to call them. It took me kind of getting rough for him to be able to refund both transactions.”
