Cottage a Ruscello di Ottawa

“Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. And it was so QUIET. Lovely place. If they had someone to help with luggage to get up the stairs, and even a continental breakfast when nothing else is really open around, that would go a long way and would be 5 stars.”

“Loved everything about Lynwood. The location, the room, the property, the staff, the restaurant, the music, the vibe. All outstanding.”

“The place was really beautiful, and the domes themselves were super cool! We loved the whole atmosphere and surroundings. The only big issue was that it was really cold inside the dome! We visited in October, and the dome was pretty big with only one small heater that didn’t seem to work properly and definitely wasn’t enough to keep the place warm. The blanket was also really thin, so we had a hard time getting through the night and unfortunately ended up getting sick. We came all the way from...

“We really enjoyed our stay. We were booked for two nights but couldn't spend much time at the facility. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive. We got a room upgrade without asking, we really appreciated it. The room was apparently clean but there were traces of stains and filth of the past guests which the cleaners didn't pay attention to. On Day 2 we requested the room to be cleaned and the reception took care of it right away. Very beautiful property otherwise!”

“Lovely place. Staff are friendly and easy to work with. We had our large dog with us and were able to stay in one of the small cabins with him. Pet fee is very reasonable. We will definitely be returning in the future!”

“Sadly, this was the most disappointing accommodation of our trip. I had dreamed of staying in a dome for years, and after hearing about friends’ luxurious experiences elsewhere, I was really looking forward to this being a highlight of our vacation. Unfortunately, we arrived to a cold dome with very few amenities — just a coffee machine with three pods and paper cups, a bar fridge, and one small lamp that left the dome quite dark at night. There was no running water, and the bathrooms were a...

“Older facility beautifully renovated!Front porch looking out onto a meadow, your own parking space, barbeque, two spacious rooms with their own temperature control. Staff was very friendly! We would definitely stay here again.”

“We booked the Lodge with a queen bed and indoor plumbing. We were given the Geo dome with no running water, a double bed and outhouses, a hike to running water, which was a filthy communal bathroom. We were in a tent on the side of the highway beside a truck-stop. they gave us a coffee maker, but no means to put water in it. There wasn’t even a bottle of water in the fridge. I would not recommend in fact, avoid at all costs.”

“We stayed in #14 cottage which is well-located at the beginning of the Cabot Trail and very close to Baddeck. The property is quite beautiful! The interior is adequate and has a kitchen and appliances, dishes and cutlery, and the beds are comfortable. There is a bath shower in the bathroom. We sat on the large deck adjacent to this cottage in the early evening sun which was pleasant and also sat against later at night to gaze at the stars.”

“Great location by the Cabot Trail and friendly host! The view is absolutely beautiful, the lodging is cozy and has all the amenities you need :) Definitely recommended if you plan to stay for a couple of nights with your friends or family!”

“Good value for money. A bit harder finding the driveway at night Not wheelchair accessible.”
