Rustic 2-bedroom cabin on Boyd Pond

Relax and enjoy incredible sunsets and bon fires while listening to the resident loons on a remote pond in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. The property includes a private sandy beach and offers easy access to hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, etc. Note that this is a family-owned cabin that does NOT include modern amenities. This is the perfect escape for those seeking a frills-free, non-luxurious, yet rustic experience. Pets allowed for additional fee.

The cabin is located on Boyd Pond, which is a very remote lake in upstate NY near the Adirondack Mountains. The cabin is heated and also has a wood stove. Chopped wood will be provided if guests choose to use the wood stove during the fall and winter months. We ask that the indoor wood stove not being used during summer. There is no air conditioning.

Boyd Pond was the destination for our most recent sister getaway. This cabin was incredibly welcoming and CLEAN! We did not bring our pets with us but it was so wonderful to see how pet-friendly the rental was...food/water dishes, poo bags, leashes, etc. The kitchen with stocked with everything we needed and more. Beds were comfortable and we stayed nice and warm throughout our snowy stay. Our host was gracious and responsive which is always a plus! We would not hesitate to book a repeat stay.

We had a lovely time at this property. Felt like heaven on earth! The perfect spot to unplug. we were totally impressed with the location. So quiet, other than the beautiful loons, gorgeous views both day and night! Kayaking, row boating, swimming & hiking with our dog…. We never left the property for the week! The water lilies were an unexpected bonus!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised with the amount of water toys available. The cabin is rustic but inexpensive so you are totally getting your money’s worth. Could use a few updates such as removing carpets. If you’re going to allow pets, make it easy to remove the previous tenants fur and accidents. And fix the leaning tower of Peesa (toilet). Otherwise it would have been a 10. We had a ball taking the raft out to the middle and hanging out. Use the kayak to pull it out :-)

Great little cabin on a pretty, quiet pond. My son loved fishing in their rowboat. I loved reading on the porch. It was clean and well taken care of. It’s in a remote area so we brought food and laid low while we were there. Loved hearing the loons and watching the sunset. We had a great time and didn’t want to leave. Thank you!

Wonderful Weekend

This property is very rustic but beautiful and the cabin had everything we needed and more. Spent lots of time enjoying the water, fire pit, and bbq. Will definitely being staying here again for future adventures. Property manager answered all my questions in a timely fashion!! 10/10 stay!!

We really loved the setting of the cabin. Boyd Pond is beautiful! We loved seeing critters outside, like geese and loons on the water. We made breakfasts in the kitchen and spent a lot of time looking out over the water both from the table and sitting on the deck. It was nice to watch TV at night and have a space of our own.

Serene getaway🌅

Stayed for 5 nights in this cozy, comfortable and clean waterfront home. Our time there was perfect…the weather was warm, wind was soft, the sun was prevalent and the skies were clear. Beautiful sunsets and full moon reflections on a mirror smooth pond. I could have stayed forever. If you’re looking for a place that is quiet there’s no need to look any further!

Amazing Cozy Cabin Experience

This property is located on a beautiful lake and we had a wonderful stay. Comfy beds , beautiful views and everything you need for the perfect outdoor experience without camping . Highly recommend !
