The cocktails were awesome.Try the Tom Collins Cocktail. Lovely walk trails as well. Then last, but by far not least, the food. I have saved the food for last because It deserves so much praise. The food is not cheap, but oh my word, it is superb. I have yet to be so delighted by my meal at a resort or hotel. Truly the flavors and the quality...

“Fui induzida a erro pelo proprio expedia,que avaliou essa espelunca como hotel e com notas elevadas. Tivemos o desprazer de passar 2 noites sem dormir com os nossos filhos: ar condicionado nao funcionava, num calor insuportavel, tivemos que suplicar por dois ventiladores, ao proprietario, um chato,mas nao adiantou nada. Localizacao sinistra, sem a minima segurança, tudo detonado,meia boca....um absurdo essa coisa se encontrar anunciado no expedia. Quero meu dinheiro de volta.”

“Wish u could have full length mirror in the family room we occupied, a small cabinet in the bathroom will also be ideal. A small dustin in the bathroom also neede. Inasmuch as its a family room, a little demarcation of the 'rooms' will do. 1 bathroom for 4 people isnt ayoba. There was no toilet paper the following cos were supplied with only 1 roll. The aircon is very weak. A few wine glasses will also assist. Breakfast: ready made eggs turn green after a while, besides why prepare them...

“The room and place is very dirty, this place is the worse I have stayed in my entire weekend out trips. What amazed me was the cost of R950 for such rubbish place. I will continue advocate for people staying away from this place going forward. ”

“Not an easy place to find, Hekpoort did not come up on our sat nav and it's quite a way from Magliesburg. Once there though it is in a beautiful setting and very peaceful, just you and the rising sun If my life's ambiton was to write a book this is where i'd come. Very good standard of hosting. Essentially self catering.”
