“This property accepted our reservation AND FULL PAYMENT for the stay but was SOLD OUT and they refused to REFUND our money!!!!! And there is no recourse through Expedia! Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've had problems with this platform but it will be the last. Never using Expedia again for any reservations.”

“Amanzi is a beautiful peaceful oasis in the chaos of Harare. Stylish rooms set in a lovely well tended garden. The staff are friendly, offering service that is second to none, nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is first class with a wide selection of delicious meals. To cap it off all of this is available at very affordable rates.”

“Overall a lovely property with nice service people. The front desk and the ease of information could certainly be improved. The game drive was slated for 10 people max, and we were brought to the truck already full and asked to pile in. 14 people in the truck, this was my least favorite activity as although we saw some animals you can see much more in other places. I was charged by Expedia for an extra person. The activities needed to be paid separately ($25 per adult and half for children)....

“In a great location. Great security (guard at gate & generally safe). Nice to see young people working at reception & kitchen. Good yummy breakfast. Some dinner options not available but this is due to country food shortages not necessarily the property. Owner of lodge easy to contact & very professional.”

“Absolutely amazing place to stay. I was concerned because my daughter was travelling by herself, but I emailed Gary and Paula and they took great care of her. Susanne was a great cook my daughter said and I would definitely recommend the Lodge to anyone. Thank you Gary for all your assistance. I appreciate it.”

“I didn’t stay there because when I arrived, I was told all the rooms were occupied. Poor administration, systems were not updated to reflect that there were no available rooms.”
