  • Questa stalla convertita offre sistemazioni confortevoli per coppie e piccole famiglie. Situato in una posizione invidiabile con vista sul trafficato porto di Bembridge, il cottage si trova a pochi passi dalla spiaggia, che è l'ideale per il rock pooling e il nuoto. C'è anche un pub del villaggio, 2 ristoranti e negozi / ufficio postale a pochi passi da The Stables.
    La proprietà si trova in una posizione tranquilla, ideale per vacanze al mare, passeggiate e vacanze in bicicletta. Ci sono viste favolose e campagna da scoprire lungo le miglia di sentieri, mulini e piste ciclabili nelle vicinanze. Gli amanti del birdwatching troveranno anche il cottage in posizione ideale per la riserva RSPB.

    Ryde è a breve distanza in auto con la sua distesa di spiagge e Puckpool Park per i bambini. Il famoso villaggio velico di Bembridge si trova dall'altra parte del porto con ristoranti, negozi, chiese e mulini e ristoranti del National Trust.

    Il villaggio di St Helens Green è famoso localmente per il cricket del villaggio. Il parco giochi e lo spazio aperto del green sono un luogo eccellente per far sfogare i bambini.

Yet another fantastic stay at our favourite place

Our favourite place to stay on the island. Love the position overlooking the Duver, perfect for watching the Sunrise! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else, Dave is a fantastic host, nothing is too much trouble and the cottage is always spotless. We return year after year, long may it continue!

Lovely property in St. Helens

The property has everything you could need for your holiday, is immaculately clean and beautifully situated just by the harbour and a short walking distance from the quiet seafront and beach. Wonderful views onto the Solent.

Fantastic location

This was our 2nd stay at the stables, the location is great and provides excellent value for money. Owner next door is very helpful but not intrusive and facilities are great. Property is spacious and has absolutely everything you could need.

Another fabulous stay!

Lost count of the amount of times we have now visited the island and we would never stay anywhere other than this location. Hosts Dave and Sue are the best and we absolutely love our stay in their cottage. Always spotless and very well equipped please don’t ever stop!

Perfect location

Another wonderful holiday at the Stables. We have been coming here for several years and hope to do so for many more! The house has everything we need and the location cannot be beaten. Peaceful and perfect for nature lovers. The Vine Inn is a short walk away in the village, serving good food in a traditional pub setting. Warm and comfortable house. Highly recommend.

Fantastic stay!

We had the most fantastic stay in The Stables. It had everything we needed and was warm and cosy - vital in January! The location is amazing, right on the edge of the harbour. Lots of birds to see and amazing sunrises. We loved walking across the Causeway to St Helen's Duver. Also up the hill to the village, where there is a pub, grocery store and the most amazing second hand bookshop I have ever visited. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We hope to return.

We did like to be beside the sea

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this scenic and quietly situated cottage. Everything we needed was provided and we were able to relax in warm comfort perfectly placed to travel around the island. It was delightful to wake each morning to a panorama of sea and wildlife. I was even able to make use of the small back garden to hang out my washing. A real home from home by the sea.

Isle of Wight stay in St Helens

It is always a pleasure stopping on the Isle of Wight, but our stay at The Stables is perfect for us as a couple. The scenary, local walks and access to the rest of the Island. Our hosts David and Sue, our namesakes! are particularly helpful and attentive, with an abundance of local knowledge. A quiet location, which would appeal to those who like a quiet escape. The area has a nature reserve nearby, with protected Lagoons, harbour facilities with little cafe's and local pubs within reasonable distances. Fishing is also available out of the harbour. We have already booked again for next year, and can't wait !!!

Very relaxing holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Stables, lovely cottage and very clean with every thing we needed for our holiday.David the owner was there to greet us and was very friendly and helpful.The location of the cottage near the harbour is beautiful, and relaxing,We had not been to the Isle of Wight for many years but we are glad we were able to visit this year .So much to see & do on the Island , we would like to come back another time and have two weeks instead .Would definitley stay at The Stables again and would recommend this cottage.

Perfect

Another wonderful holiday at the Stables. Warm comfortable house, right on the doorstep of stunning scenery. Suitable for a couple, or family with two small children. Lovely walks and great for bird watching. Short walk to local pub, and others further on in Bembridge.
