“We had a lovely visit at the Gillis Grier Bed and Breakfast in historic Newtown. It is a Victorian gem! The owners were extremely personable and delightful, providing a lovely breakfast to begin the day. ”

“I was double charged for the room. After paying Expedia like normal the hotel charged me the full rate. I'm still working to be refunded. Some vomit or other fluid on the floor at the entry that closely resembled vomit, old worn furnishings. The lady was pleasant and kind though. ”

“Breakfast is offered on the website. There was a sign on the breakfast room that said breakfast at 6:30. There was NO breakfast. Almost sounds like false advertising.”

“Heater sounded like a jet plane taking off, there was a hole in the bottom of the door. Housekeeping didn't show up the whole time. When I pulled the blankets back there was a live bug on them. The pillows were terrible, and the final complaint is the noise from early morning until late night. I recommend not staying here I left and found another hotel.”

“The staff was very friendly. The room was good... but the water heater is clearly not working. We had cold water most of the time and the shower after running for 5 minutes only got to lukewarm intermittently. We had to boil water on the stove to clean our baby's bottles and giving her a bath was out of the question (to cold for a baby). ”
